I cant get Laura to jump back or left(right) during a wall run. I got through the manor on a fluke but now I'm stuck in the sword trap (for 3-hours) with no way out. I can only get her to jump forward in the direction she's going.help!-J.R.

You have my sympathies... I HATED THAT ROOM! (EDIT: Pretty sure he means St Francis Folly, Damocles room)

Well, I assume you know what to do since you're struggling with that bit in that room. (above the bigger room with the swords that open a path for you... sort of)


WALL RUN:

To jump backwards (as needed in that room), practise this in CROFT MANOR so you won't be too annoyed, hold *back* + jump as she's approaching the end of her swing. That works for me anyway. Any other time and she'll goof it (As you've learned in your *happy* 3 hours)
As I said, practise doing this in the manor until you're satisfied you can do it properly.

Jumping in the direction she's moving in swing: Jump as she's about to change direction.

As for jumping back the way she came in the wall run... I don't think you get to do that.

hey..ok. To jump back, when lara is turning around to run the other way..jump. what level are you in? i may be able to describe it better if i knew the level.
