Default So... who here has experienced a change in momentum?

Strange question I know, but its out of curiosity. Change in momentum includes things like being hit by cars, crashing vehicles etc.
I got whacked by a car doing about 50 kph while I was on my bike and it hurt when I hit the ground.
Anyone else got any 'changes in momentum' they would like to share?

Umm, I was on my uncles boat by West Point Academy in New York and he fell asleep at the wheel and we crashed really hard into a rock and the boat sunk in like 15 minutes but we made it to land in time and got off. Did I mention it was like 2 A.M out and dark and creep.lol luckily the boat made it into like 6 feet of water and we got it out with a crane the next day. It could have sank to the bottom of the River which is like REALLY deep. It kinda hurt but I was in the bed and only slammed into a pillow, everyone on Deck was kinds hurt and had back pains.

Wow. Kinda makes being hit by a car not seem so bad.

I rode my motorcycle into the side of a car that pulled out of a side road in front of me.

I was doing 50MPH at the time.

I flew over the handlebars and landed on the boot of the car which then accelerated me off and disappeared around the next bend.

It was really funny trying to walk for a couple of weeks after that.

The scariest moment of my life was when the stabilizers failed when my Dad was towing our caravan on the autobahn (German freeway).

The whole three lanes cleared and everyone was travelling at slow speeds to give us space.

We then took up the entire three lanes as Dad tried to regain control. There was a steep drop to our right and the caravan swung straight to the left side of the car and smashed into my rear door, bruising my leg as the car caved in.

I was screaming, mother was crying and poor Dad yelled at my brother - he asked him to slap me around the face because I was hysterical (Brave little soldier eh? ). He couldn't concentrate with all the hysteria.

I soon shut up as did Mum. Dad had no option but to crash the car into the far barrier. We all braced ourselves but Dad was most skilled and he managed to prevent the caravan from flying over the car and crushing us all.

It was the longest 'accident' ever and when you are in a situation like that it is horrifying because you are staring death in the face - it is never-ending.

that sounds terrifying. thank god i have never been in a car accident. though i have come pretty close every time i used to get in a car with my dad. he was a bad driver and a drunk, it didn't help that we had a crappy car. lucky he hasn't got a licence anymore, i wonder why
