Default How many people online?

I play the demo (PC) and considering buying. Few questions though.

1-) Are there any clans out there? Or does anyone out there w/ a clan use Teamspeak or ventrilo?

2-)How many people are there that play? a decent amount? I would think so since this game seems pretty bad ass

3-)What times do most people play? I'm on Eastern Standard Time (-5GMT)

4-)Any expansion coming out soon or anything of the sort?

----------------off topic kinda--------
Is mild cussing allowed on forums?

Thanks guys. hopefully will hear from you all soon.

See my thread " where are all the players"

Yes it is a "good" game - when it works properly.
When you can find players online.
If you can Actually HOST a game.
When crap players "dont quit" the game early leaving unbalanced play.
When Eidos actually allow independent server browsers like Q-tracker or ASE.

If that could be sorted then it would become a "GREAT" game

Don't count on it. After the patch some people who could host couldn't!

If i were you i'd see if you can pick it up 2nd hand or borrow a copy from a friend to try it first.

Well I'm sorry to say I now find myself playing less and less because there are less and less people playing. The patch screwed up ever thing more so less people weren't able to connect. And here's the funny thing, this game was cracked less then 24 hours after it came out and not even those people are playing. I was so much into this game that I bought another copy just to give to my friend to play and he's not even playing anymore. He went back to playing Flatout.
So this is my little rant but if I don't see any support or communication from Eidos regarding any maps (not map) or some type of add-on for the PC community , I don't think I would bother with the next game. I can't see it working for the PC gamers like a PC game should. It a console game ported. Plan and simple, 12 year olds with Xboxes.

Otherwise hope to see you in my sights. (if anybody is playing)

Post Script - It's ok, Eidos will be rolling around in some cash after Tomb Raider. (which is geared to console) And I want to see how quick the first patch comes out. I bet you less then 10 days. But that will mostly be for the exe. file for the crack. Those people won't see a correction patch for months. hahahahahahahaa

Tex maybe something stops you seeing the games, because ive been gettin alot of games lately. Maybe those connection issues for some reason are stopping you seeing games ??

Sure it might take 5 minute to get into a game (they don't stay open long) but Ive had a heap of good matches recently, maybe persevere if like me your a fan of the naval genre.

An upgrade of the GameSpy interface, being able to see who is in lobby with you as well as a chat function would certainly help getting games up imho thou.
