Default PaintShop Pro 7 problem - please help!!

Hey everyone. I was using my PSP7 the other day, and Jasc Animation Shop, and everything was ok. And then (I did NOTHING wrong, or different), when I was adding text to a picture in PSP, the text would be auto placed on the photo, and then, when I'd move it, I'd have two texts - one where it was automatically placed, and the other where I wanted it. What gives? I have no idea what this could be - none whatsoever! I'm thinking of just re-installing the darn program, but I'd like to know what the problem is, if you know.
Thanks!!

Use a new transparent layer(on top of the image layer) for the text(meaning you need to be using a format that has transparency(try .png). If that doesn't work then move the entire transparent layer.

What it sounds like to me is that the text gets anchored then "kills" the image behind the text. I've seen this happen with some editing programs.

Default Thanks, Salvage

I figured out what it was - I left the computer for a brief amount of time yesterday, to eat lunch, (foolishly) leaving my program open, and my idiot (I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that ) brother came there, and started using it himself. Somewhere between the time when I left it, and came back to work on my animation, it was changed from 'Floating' to 'Selection'.
It's, of course, working now - it was working then, but it was not the setting I wanted...ugh...(I can't wait until the boys get their own computer (they had a Windows 95 one before, which can kept them off mine, but one of 'em wrecked it. ).)

Thanks again!!

[edit: I just reread my message, and realized that it sounded like I never leave the computer. Believe it or not, that's not true - what I meant is that DURING THE TIME THAT I WAS WORKING IN PSP, I left the computer for a brief amount of time. ]
