BO2 Invisible Reaver

Recently I sat down to replay BO2 for the 400th time and it suddenly dawned on me to use the Reaver cheat so I could use the Soul Reaver through out the game.

The cheat worked well however when I saved at a check point, quit the game and then reloaded latter on, though the game still registered the Reaver and I could still use the Reaver, the Reaver was missing, ie. The skin of the Reaver was not there so it was effectively invisible.

I found out that if I was to go into mist form, then the Reaver would reappear (Reaver skin reloaded.) but this could get annoying when mist is far away.

For any one who has used this cheat on the PC could you tell me if this "Case of the Missing Reaver" is normal?


(PS. The one cool thing about the invisible Reaver is that when you upgrade it using the weapon coffer only the blue glow shows, so it looks like Kain is wielding the Wraith Blade.)

Yeh this is normal dont worry! I'm surprised you didn't see it written on the site you got the cheat from! :S

Thanks, the site I got the cheat from only mentioned that the Reaver could be registered at checkpoints, it never mentioned anything about it disappearing.

I think it disapears because of (normaly) a weapon disapears if you quit the game while holding it, and they forgot to code it to fix it... I actualy prefer the invisible reaver though, Its fun sliceing and diceing your meals (err, people :P ) with a non-existant blade.

(P.S. - You can also get that "Wrath Blade" look with fury, but Im betting you already knew that )

Go to mist form and back and you will see the Reaver

on the ps2 and gamecube this happens but i dont have it on the pc so i have no idea

I can't get the cheat to work. . .It is L1, R1, L2, R2, Square, Circle, Triangle correct? LIke you don't hold them down or anything and press start you just press them in order and press start and start a new game like normal? From the screen with Kain standing with the Soul Reaver and Press Start flashing?
