Cool Thanks, LCO !!!

You were the original inspiration for me to upgrade my puter, instead of trying to buy a new system.

I had already upgraded my video, sound, HDDs, etc., so, I talked to the people at Motherboard Express, (they did the hard part, setting up the CPU on the motherboard) and I got a new P4 2.0G, and it's up and running, after moving all the old parts around, reloading Win98SE, etc.

Now I'm definately ready for AOD !!! Thanks again for getting me thinking right...

Shhhhh Dell and Gateway might hear you Anytime and good
luck with it! You now are 1000 mhz faster than me! I heard
in the PC mags The P4 cpu's are dropping 30 percent in Sept.
Might be time for me to do an upgrade myself. I always wanted
a second PC just to play TR on maybe nows the time. I have a
nice old Voodoo 3000 3DFX AGP card just waiting for the TR1
patch (no Glidos needed for superb graphics on TR1 )

Yes, I'm patching together my AMD 550 based PC, just to keep for older games... Also - it's good to have a backup PC, when you're constantly bringing in changes that put your machine down, and need to DL drivers, get advice, etc.
