I seem to find it difficult how and where to upgrade my strength since it's already the second time that I have to ask someone else coz I can't find it myself. I've just arrived at the Louvre, set off the alarm and killed the guards and I even managed to re-open the doors again. Where do I go from here coz I'm too weak to open that one door. What do I have to move/lift/break into pieces with my bear hands?
Thanks

Only place I know of is on the roof. Are you on the roof yet (i.e. passed the Mona Lisa?) You have to successfully navigate the first laser room and the second laser room to get to her (without setting off alarms).

Landru is right. Right above the Mona Lisa is a vent that you must crawl thru. But in order to de active the lazer security around it, you must push a buttom that's on the far right wall. I'm speaking from when you are facing the Mona Lisa.
Once you push that buttom, you have exactly 10 seconds to run and push the glass box that sits in front of the Mona Lisa. You need to push that box all the way up against the bench that sits in front of the Mona. Then climb up and jump over to the vent. |

Just 2 make sure that we're on the same level here (literally then!
); I'm only in the room where you see these lasers for the very first time! I never saw any lasers before, so it's really the first room with lasers in it. And yes: there are multiple glass objects in this room.btw: when Lara Croft says that it's really clean in here (read: The Louvre) is that a joke or should I pay further attention to it? Thanks! Bye for now.

OK. You don't need a power-up until you pass thru the two laser rooms without tripping the alarms. This was actually an enjoyable level for me! Kinda getting back to the old Lara run-n-jumps of yesteryear!

At the very beginning of the Louvre Galleries level is a door you aren't strong enough to break down. Ignore it for now. Later on (much later actually), you wind up back in the Louvre galleries with a strength upgrade, and you can backtrack to it to open it then.

Ok. I'm sorry, but there's still one thing I don't understand. How on earth can I pass the first laserbeams then? I can't jump over them or crawl underneath them and I can't shimmy across or something. I know I must've overlooked something and normally I'm pretty good (read: very good
) at helping myself, but this is the very first Tomb Raider-game for me which keeps me stuck more than once. ![]() thx!

in the first room, climb up on the nearest display case and jump and grab onto the stone atrifact thing hanging on the wall to your left.... proceed from there using running jumps, shimmying etc.

Oh, ok. Strange. I remember picking up a large medi-packet and indeed hanging on a ledge, but not shimmying across or jumping to the other side over these laser beams.
thx! bye 4 now

It sounds like you are still in the laser room ?
You need to press the switch in that's on the wall by the door as once the lasers go off bars come down to bloke the doors. Once you press the switch the lasers come back on and you have to get to the other side without touching them and setting the alarm back off. |
