You should be able to find the Desert Eagle, aptly renamed the "Deagle" in Hitman 2 to avoid licensing fees, in the very first mission, "Anathema." The Don's son and brother should be carrying it with themselves. They usually hang around out back near the pool. If you're fast enough, you can sneak out of the study and blow the fat one away and nab his Deagle when he comes into the mansion to check on the Don. If you're NOT fast enough, wannabe, you'll be able to find the Deagle in almost every other mission in the game.
The only place you'll find the revolver, to my knowledge, is in Russia, in the mission "Invitation to a Party." It should be carried by the Spetsnaz Agent. He stands out quite well in his lovely, brown unmatching suit, angry demeanor, and large frame. And if you give him time, he'll come looking for you, so don't worry about finding him--just equip your ballers and wait for him somewhere outside. If you don't want to load up those two missions, you can always cheat. My preferred method. Type in IOIGIVES during any mission after editing the hitman2.ini file (see the Hitman 2 cheats thread) and you'll be equipped with every weapon you could dream of, including a few you couldn't have dreamed of (unless you're a prison inmate, of course. Unlike some of you sickos, I don't dream of things like FIREAXES or SP12s). To use the revolver and Deagle at the same time, if that's what you were asking, follow these directions I lovingly plagiarized from the HitmanHQ: Dual Handgun Bug: It is possible to fire any two hanguns in an Akimbo fashion. With your hands empty, select the Ballers from your inventory. Now drop them on the ground. Equip the handgun you would like to have in your left hand. 47 will now be holding this gun in his right hand. Pick up the Ballers. 47 will transfer the gun in his right hand to his left hand, and place the Ballers in his coat. Now equip the handgun you want in your right hand. The guns will now fire just like the Ballers. (There is also no reload animation, therefore no pause to reload, effectively making the clip hold the total number of shells you have.) |

Hmmm.. I thought you can find revolver in the 1st mission also. Don himself has it.
Speznaz fellow had some kind of small (russian? makarov?) gun but not a revolver.

Thank you for telling me how to do that fuction. Yeah cheats are good. That speznaz agent with the briefcase has the .54 pistol ( you can get this in St.Petersburg from the guy on the left when you exit the metro and you kill or pacify him he drops it.) it kinda sucks though, kinda like using one Ballers when you're holding a rifle.

Also, if you don't want to kill the head guy's son/brother, you can get the Deagle from the office. And you don't have to wait for the 'Invitation to a party' mission to get the russian .45 makarov. The second mission, St. Petersburg, if you don't take the tunnels and go up the stairs to the outside there's a baracade w/ 2 guys standing there. One of them has an AK-74U-Krinkov, and one of them has the Makarov. you have to kill guys anyways so why not make a little detour.
And why does it say that you can use the fire axe for busting down doors and windows when you can't? and in the manual it says that you can lye (lie?) down to steady your scope drift...why the heck does it say that?!?! you can't lye (lie?) down! AH! |
