Question Improving my PC for TR:AOD!

Two questions.

1st question: I want to play AOD having the latest and the greatest drivers. Question is: what do I need to update, please? I know that I could update my video and sound drivers, but are there any others that could need a useful update?

2nd question: Where can I find the most important information about my PC so that one could see what drivers I have right now? (without having to completely go through this dxdiag-note; unless of course this is the easiest way)

Sorry to bother you guys, but I'm not really familiar (anymore) with these things and a little help would be useful.

So before I can update my drivers, I really need to know what to update and how to copy down here the most important information regarding my current PC-drivers.

Thanks a lot, my friends! I'd appreciate the help!

Thanks, but I sorta wanted to get my own system requirements on this forum, so one (who knows more about computers than I do) could not only see what drivers I have currently installed, but also point out where to update them. That's my final goal: to update my drivers and to know where I can update them?

But thank you anyway for trying to help me out here!

Bye for now

Ok Godfather, what stuff do you have inside of your PC? List your processor, graphics card and sound card, as well as your RAM.

Umm, if you answer, it might be helpful, cuz you dont necessarily have to update your drivers if your hardware is new enough.

Ya know something, now that you all mentioned it, I should have waited for AOD for PC instead of buying AOD for PS2 because my workstation is a real power house machine, and I also just picked up a new video card. My configuration is as follows...

Dell 530 Workstation
Dual 1.5GHz Xeon Processors
512 RAM
Ge Force Ti4600 128 AGP 4X
21" SONY LCD DVI

AOD on PS2 is a bit slow at times with the frame rate slowing down when many things are occurring on the screen.

(agp 4x is enough for now but for the future..games like doom3 won't play as good as 8.no difference in tomb raider)
