PS2 AOD Controller Options

I just got AOD and I can not get to where you can change the controller options. The mannual tells you where put it is not there..Anyone else getting the same problem??

Think I may have seen this option on first use but have not been able to access it since-frustrating because obviously they couldn't leave well enough along. Lara had the most "natural" feel of any game I have ever played, logical buttons, moves, etc.

So DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN ANSWER_AWAKE EIDOS??
