FM: The death of Garrett question

I can't remember what difficulty I am playing but probably on expert. I could not find this FM using the search option either.

I can't get the chalise. I watched it float away to the other side of the room and I cannot figure out how to get to it. I get killed everytime I try to jump down into the pit - there are spikes on the floor.

Second question is that I killed lord thayer with an arrow, knocked out Bok, stole his hip dagger and a hand that was in his room then scattered them around thayers body. I even carried an unconscious Bok into Thayer's room too. But my objective will not give me credit for killing thayer and setting up Bok.

Any help would be appreciated.

IIRC, to cross the pit you just need a

running leap of faith

and to get the Bok objective, I think you

drop the dagger on his body or frob him with it

something along those lines.
