Default Shipping PC-BMGame.exe crash

Hi

I bought the Batman Arkham Asylum: GOTY from Steam. Tried playing the game but two seconds after pressing play, the ShippingPC-BMGame.exe error occurs and crashes the game. After which this pops up,

I scoured over the Net for an answer but to no avail.

Does anyone have the solution for this error or know where to get the direct solution?

Hardware:
Intel Core 2 Quad @2.33 GHz
3 MB RAM
Geforce GT 240

Default same problem.

I'm having the same problem exactly, even the same message. I too am scouring the forums in search of a fix. If I find anything that works, you'll be the next to know!

Default got mine to work.

I think my GFWL was corrupted. I uninstalled everything that was GFWL related from my control panel_add/remove programs. Downloaded installer and reinstalled GFWL. Now it works.
