Screen Tearing No Dialogue Menu

I have recently purchased this game through Steam and the first thing i experience is visual problems.
I am currently running this game on an ATI 4890 XT which brings foward a beautiful display of the game. However, the HUD flickers once in a while and the Dialogue Menu does not show. This happens when the game is running on 1600*1080, Vsync on and Edge AA. I would really appreciate some feedback on this EIDOS as i am PAYING for a product with the EXPECTATION of a visually excellent game. NB all my drivers are updated and i am running this on VISTA ult. ed. with a Q6600 CPu. BTW i run Crysis very well, Thank you in advance for you kind consideration and technical assistance. Just for the sake of testing have you tried turning AA off or a diffrent type of AA to see if the problem is still there ?
Allso make sure youre not forcing anything through the ATI Catalyst Control Center and let the app decide what to use.

I used to own a 4890 myself (good card) but know that HDR lighting and certain AA types could cause conflicts.

ok i found the source of this issue as being the the activation of post processing, being on. When one the game looks beatifull but the hud and other on screen imagaes dont appear....any fix for this ANYONE, EIDOS!!!
