Default In game advertising

Anyone see the ad for the Star Wars blu-ray collection on the loading screen? Design choices I don't like, those I'm okay with, but in game ads? Kinda bothers me. What do you guys think?

That sucks. I haven't seen any ads in-game, although that might be because I bought the Russian version.

Actually I kinda like it. It's in a good spot, what else are you going to during that time?

Loading is too quick to get up and do something else, and its too short to alt-tab for facebook or anything else.

If this gets us more content like the Montreal Hub or Upper Heng Shai (really good opportunity) I'm all for it!

What loading screen specifically? I didn't notice it on any of my playthroughs yet.

I've been playing offline with no internet connection active since the very first time i installed it (and once for the patch i believe) so i doubt i can get any ads, and not surprisingly i haven't seen any. I play all my games on steam offline simply because i dont like being connected/don't connect my gaming computer to the net to try and keep it as fresh as possible. guess that was a good thing by accident huh.

I'm strongly opposing in-game ads, but somehow I feel this is a trolling attempt...

It's real. Joystiq has a screenshot up.

Personally, I feel that if they want to do this, then I think the least they should do is make the DLC free.

Seriously? There's already thread about this with the same god damn title. How hard is it to use the search function?
