Extraction Map zoom?

I've been trying to figure out how to zoom in the extraction map using a keyboard and mouse and am unable to get it to work. The regular PDA map has you right click and move up or down, but that doesn't work in the extraction map. Plug in a 360 controller and I can do it fine. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem, till i worked out the you can use the left, right, up and down keys! Zoom is mousewheel.
