First off, hey everybody. This will be a very short book that takes place after the events of Batman: Revolved, if you have not yet read Revolved, I recomend using the search tool and finding it before reading this, otherwise the last chapters of Spiderman: Revolved will make no sense what so ever. I am also proof-reading and spell-checking this book, so there should be no spelling errors.
Keep in mind this is a Fan-Fic, and has nothing to do with the Canon Batman or Spiderman universes. This is a COMPLETELY different take on Spiderman. I mean, changing the origin different. This is my spiderman, the one I would like to see in a comic book. Characters like Venom will also be completely changed. Green Goblin, on the other hand, will be the same for the most part. Batman: Revolved, as some of you may remember, was loaded with villains that played off of each other's personalitys, and I will be doing this a lot in Spiderman: Revolved. For instance, Peter and Harry Osborn would have back and forth moments, in which they play off of each others moods, and Spiderman and Shocker as well. Here is a list of the villains I am going to be including (Not as much in Batman, but still quite a bit): Shocker (First villain, hits Peter on a very emotional level) Electro (Max Dillon is very similar to Maxwell Crane in Revolved as a character) Magneto (Short appearence, but one that leaves a mark in the entire story, also, X-Men will be included for a very short time as well, but they all mean a lot to the story) Sandman (Cameo, not so much a villain, but name is mentioned) Venom (Major roll in the end) Carnage (Most likely only a small appearence, which will be in the last two or three chapters I think) The biggest roll in the story as a bad guy will go to Green Goblin. I won't say why, but you'll see. A rather interesting point you may all find rather amusing is this books "gang". Here's what I mean: In Batman: Revolved there was the gang of three best friends in high school. There was Tim, who becam Batman, Drake, who, in a sense, was Revolved's new Robin, and then there was Max, who was not only Tim and Drake's friends, but he was secretly Scarecrow, which screwed a lot with the friendship the three had. I never really built anything up with Maxwell, sadly, he wasn't as much of a friend as he was a villain. There is also the fact that I put up the first Chapter of Batman: Revolved 2 (Dubbed "Coming of Moros), and I regret it, but I moved on to something I could actually publish instead of fan-fiction (And I am still writing that, so that is why you will see these chapters are very short compared to my other work). But anyways, In Spiderman: Revolved, the gang is very similar to that of Batman: Revolved. I suppose you could even say this is an alternate reality of Batman: Revolved in the beginning. Peter would be like Tim, with Harry like Drake, and Max Dillon like Max Crane. Anywho, I am going to get the first bit up now, so happy reading everybody. I hope you all enjoy. Watch for the Batman references (they will not be hard to spot). Batman Revolved (Keep in mind this is my very first project ever, and I failed to be a very neat writer for the first 11 Chapters. There are many errors which I should have fixed. Oh well, for the most part it is easy to read and understand) http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthr...atman+revolved Soldiers of the Damned, this one is the motherl oad of all of my books, because this is the real deal, the one that will actually be published. Keep in mind, however, that there are more Chapters over in the general discussion area. The reason I post this link, is because the one over there is drafts, and this one is the final copy of the first 13 or so Chapters. I recomend reading Batman before either of these two. Whichever one you read next does not matter, but if you do not read Batman, then book 2 of Soldiers of the Damned will explain everything from the start of Batman: Revolved, with very large twists, making it my own story, and not a Batman one (Most characters in this book will be very easily recognized after reading Batman): http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/bo...?book_ID=12722 Last edited by kain9998; 08-17-2010 at 04:26 PM. |

Origin:
My name is Peter Parker, and I am ready to kill something. I am a Freshman in High School, and I recently took part in an experiment to fuse a man with the ability's of a spider, and then some. The people paid me amazing amounts of cash for this. Why? Because everybody else they had tried was lost. I was experiment Number 31, and things worked like a charm for me. Now I can shoot webs out of my wrists, strong enough to hold me as I swing through New York. I can stick to walls like a spider, and I have super-human strength and agility. Sounds cool, huh? Does it make you want to be me, like when you read a comic as a kid and run around the house with a paper bag over your head yelling "I'm Superman!"? Well, I thought it was awesome at first. For about a week I was just shoving money in the mailbox, surprising my Aunt May and Uncle Ben every time they checked the mail. Bless their hearts... So every night I went for training. They tested how much I could do, how far I could go. They seemed impressed, and that was all that mattered. If they were impressed, then I was getting more money by the second. I was wearing some experimental suit to keep me from getting extremely hurt if I fell from the walls or something. It was jet-black, with large, white eyes. I guess you could say I was living the dream, right? I mean, I had super powers! But I soon learned they would come with a price... It was a late Friday night. I just finished my homework, and it was time to go to my training session. I did some warm ups as usual, and nothing went wrong, that is, until one of the men pulled me to the side of the lab and told me why they were doing this. I was being trained to be an assassin. I was going to take out people like Wilson Fisk, AKA the Kingpin of Crime, and drug lords. They wanted me to clean up the streets, yes, but they wanted me to kill my victims. If I didn't have to kill, I would have been fine with it, but these guys told me I had to kill them, to give the city a sign of my presence. They wanted me to let New York know that I was watching. Keep in mind that I am just a kid here! I couldn't kill somebody. I got in fights before at school, and I did those just fine, but I never had to KILL in those fights. So what did I do? I said no, and went for the door. The man who approached me told me they would hurt my family when I wasn't around, and I just laughed it off. I was too naive to understand how far they would go if I went behind their backs. I figured "Hey! I have enough money to last for years now! Who cares if I pull out? I'm already rich!" Two nights later I go to the movies with my friend, Harry Osborn, who is son of the famous Norman Osborn, owner of Oscorp. When I come home my Aunt May is crying over the body of my dead Uncle. I lived with Aunt May and Uncle Ben because my parents never wanted me. I wasn't even supposed to be here, they were going to have abortion, and Peter Parker would just be the name of some other kid that I will never know in my lifetime. Ben and May begged my parents not to kill their child, but to let them take me, and so that was what happened. I don't think I will ever meet my parents either, and I don't want to. Ok, so here I am staring down at my dead Uncle Ben, and my crying Aunt May, who is to sad to even call 911 or even notice me open the door, so what do I do? If you guessed "Go looking for the killer", your wrong. Instead I just sat there and stared with tears in my eyes. This was the first moment of my life, the first moment I decided justice needed a symbol, a person to represent it... and from that moment on: I was known as Spider-man. I'll be sure to do that very soon Batter.
![]() Now, as many of you may know from my Soldiers of the Damned book series I am starting over in the General Discussion, I am known for my "movie trailers" that I write out as book trailers. Well, expect Spiderman: Revolved to get railer-ized very soon. (Batman makes an appearence.) EDIT: There is a part in the origin where Spiderman is talking about a kid yelling I'm Batman with a bag on his head, I changed it to Superman. Last edited by kain9998; 08-15-2010 at 09:10 PM. |

Personally, I like this one. I think it came out great. What do you all think?
Spiderman: Revolved The Trailer: The very first thing you see is Spiderman swinging through the city. Spiderman is not wearing the iconic red and blue suit, but a suit that replaces the red with black, and blue with white. His spider is large and red, and covers his whole torso. Spiderman does a few jumps and flips in the air, before landing on a building and looking on the city below. A very large crowd of people are holding signs saying "No More Mutants!" and everybody is chanting it as well. The faint figure of Charles Xavier is standing with a microphone on a stage, and you can see the famous X-Men standing in the background. Charles voice narrates the entire trailer with his speech he is giving to the mutant protesters, and the President of the United States, who is currently planing on shutting down his school. The camera zooms in on Charles as he begins to speak. He looks very saddened and weak in his wheelchair, but at the same time his face looks almost proud in a strange way, proud of his X-Men, his family. "Dear friends," Charles begins as the camera pans across the angered faces of the people. "What is it that makes us different?" "A long time ago, African Americans were taken into slavery." Charles voice continues as the camera is now zooming in on Spiderman, as he sits atop the building with his arms crossed, watching the speech. Charles voice continues as the camera switches to a shot of Maxwell Dillon being shoved into a locker by Flash Thompson. "It was we, the American people, that did this to them, and it is my family, and your family, a long time ago, who started racism." Flash punches Max in the face and Max falls over with a bloody nose, looking pained and sad. "We were bullies." Charles sighs as you see Flash being taken away by a teacher. He's looking back at Max with a sly smirk on his face. "We were anything but nice." Charles whispers as a shot of Shocker comes on screen, his gloves all charged up like he's about to shoot them. Charles pauses for a moment, and the camera quickly zooms out to show Max standing in between Spiderman and Shocker, holding his arms out to protect Spiderman from the blast. "Need I remind you all of when we made Native Americans assimilate to our culture, and act like us?" Spiderman jumps to shove Max out of the way, but Max is shot back by Shocker into a generator, which starts throwing sparks of electricity everywhere. "Need I remind you..." Charles pauses again as the camera shows Max fall to the ground when the sparks stop, smoke floating away from his body. "Of the lives that were lost?" "You are all starting it again!" Charles yells, but it's more of an attention getter, not a angry yell. When he yells this, there is a shot of the new Max, Electro, standing in a crowd of mutant protesters as they ambush him. Max now has sparks covering his body, and his skin is glowing a strange golden color. Also, his hair is no longer on his head. Max screams "I'm not a mutant!" before Charles cuts in again. "Can you not see it?" Charles asks, his voice filled with disgust as a shot of Harry Osborn comes up. "Can you?" He asks again. In reality, he is asking the people in the mob, but it appears as though he is asking the people on screen as they come up. The second time he asked it, there was a shot of Norman Osborn. He asks again, his voice slightly quieter as a shot of the deceased Uncle Ben comes across the screen. "Can't you see the pain you are causing people?" Xavier continues, a shot of a man in high-tech, full body armor appears. The main colors are green, with purple pads here and there, and a purple streak going down his helmet. The man is standing in a lab, and you can see in the background a sign that says "Oscorp", with a picture of Norman Osborn smiling happily. It is obvious, in this short moment, that the man is none other than the Green Goblin. Suddenly, large, purple, Bat-like wings sprout from a pack on the back of Goblin's armor. Just before Charles continues, the Goblin takes flight, and smashes through the window. "Can't you see the hate?" Charles says, a shot of Spiderman getting tackled off of a web by Goblin comes up just as he does. "The blood?" He whispers, his voice pleading. This time there is a shot of Spiderman on the pavement, close up on his bloody face as a big, black hand pounds it into the ground. Camera zooms out and reveals a big figure, much like Spiderman, but completely black, with bigger, more demonic looking eyes, and a white spider on his front torso. "Friends..." Charles says like the first part of his speech as the screen goes black. "I ask you for one thing, and one thing only. I ask you for your love, your acceptance. I ask you to stop, and to think. Are we so... different?" As the small speech ends a web appears on the screen, the words Spiderman: Revolved appear, and just when you would think it's the end, the demonic voice of Venom cuts in, singing in a very creepy voice, starting the last bit of the trailer. "The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout..." Venom growls as a shot of bloody spiderman climbing up a wall appears. It's close enough that you can't see more then a foot below him. Suddenly Venom's hand comes up and grabs Spiderman's leg, pulling him down. "Down came the rain, and washed the spider out!" Venom laughs. The screen flips suddenly to the monster-like Carnage throwing a car into a building. "Hey you!" a voice calls from behind Carnage. The screen turns so that we are now facing the front of Carnage, and we can see Tim, dressed in his Batman suit, standing there with Drake. Carnage growls and Tim laughs a little. "Do you know a guy named Clayface? You look just as ugly as him." Carnage growls again and the last shot is of Batman flying at Carnage, getting ready to throw out a punch, and Carnage jumping at Batman with very sharp claws ready to impale him. Alright, here is Chapter 1. Origin was just to explain things from Peters point of view, so it wasn't really much of a chapter. I am really looking forward to seeing what you all think! Please make sure to review it if you have time, because I like to see all good and bad reviews. If you think there is something I can improve on, then do tell. It's completely ok to me if you don't like my writing, but if you don't I really like to know why by people who ware actually reading it, because if I am going to publish a book series of five, I want to know what people like/dislike about my writing (And what you dislike about this, or what you like about this, could be something you would like/dislike in the Soldiers of the Damned series, which is why ti is so important.) Thank you all, and before I waste anymore of your time, here it is!
![]() Chapter 1 Everyday Night: A whole month had passed since Uncle Ben was killed, and I was still following the very few leads I had. These scientists, they never revealed their faces. They all had a silver helmet on with some sort of reflective surface that they could see through, but I couldn't. It was also what my lenses in my mask were made of. I was beating myself up to much though. I wouldn't rest until I found the killers, and whoever they were, they had to be making another person like me. I would find that person, and I would make them talk. I bet to you, I sound like a pretty bad dude, huh? Well, not really. I'm actually a very nice guy in person, believe it or not. I have a lot of friends, most of them not so popular, and I have a small crush on a girl in school named Mary Jane Watson. It's kind of silly, but I took drama class just to be with her in Middle School. Now, I still had loads of cash. Sure I was giving a lot secretly to Aunt May, but with the money I had left over I could modify my suit, and make it look more... spider-like. After all, if I had the powers of a spider, the only really good name I could have was Spider-man right? At least it was better the Spider-boy. So it's Sunday night, Midnight to be exact, and I am outside swinging, jumping, and running around, trying to find a place these guys could be hiding. I really wanted to know who they worked for. They had to be some company, right? If I found out who these people worked for, I could find out who did this to me, and if I found that out, I could find out who killed Uncle Ben. That's how I saw things. When I landed on the top of a building, my cell phone went off in my left pocket, which made me jump. Who on earth was up this late on a school night? Well... besides me. I pulled out my cell and smiled to see the words "New Text from Mary Jane". Boy was I ever so disappointed when I flipped open my cell and saw it was a forward of some stupid joke that wasn't even funny. I sighed and took another leap of faith, just like every other two seconds of the night, and shot a web to fly off. I looked around as I webbed from one building to the next. "If I were a bunch of high-tech evil guys making assassins... where would I be?" I wondered out loud to myself, like I was expecting a reply. The only reply I would get in this city was somebody yelling from below. I heard that a lot. I thought to myself for a while. I thought about what company could have been funding this whole thing, and alls I could think of was Oscorp. I dismissed that thought when I remembered one of my best friends dad owns the place. It was kind of funny that Harry was so rich, and yet he would hang out with a kid like me. Yeah, I had a lot of cash, but he didn't know that. Besides, it was still less money then he had. You know how there are girls that would say "Daddy, can I borrow twelve bucks"? Well, if Harry was like that he could ask for ten times the money, and his dad would just hand it to him. Trust me, I've seen it happen. The thing about Harry, the thing that makes him a great friend, is that even though he's rich, he doesn't let it get to his head. Sure, there have been a few times where I think he was just trying to impress us all, for instance, there was a time where he pulled up to school in a really slick new car he bought just that morning. Harry may not be able to drive yet, but he had a butler that could. Oh, and did I mention he also has a crush on the same freaking girl I do? Yeah, it sucks, but oh well. The thing that makes me mad is that I can be a real dork, but Harry, on the other hand, has a real way with words around the ladies. I sighed, and decided to call it a night. Monday mornings were never my thing, and Monday mornings after I was out swinging around the city like a monkey, that was my demise. Sure, I still had six hours of sleep by the time I was in bed, but that didn't really mean much of anything. Six hours was plenty of sleep for me, but when I had to go to gym first period, which I was now extremely good in, I was pretty messed up. I laid back in bed, closed my eyes, and I was out... Chapter 2: Shocker
"Ready for another boring school day?" Harry smirked as I walked towards him. He was standing next to a large, cement fountain outside the main building. "If only..." I replied rather sleepily. "I need caffeine." Harry frowned. "What's wrong buddy? You've been looking pretty beat the last few days." He paused, pondering whether or not he should say the next part. "Is your Uncle Ben's death still bothering you?" "Yeah." I sighed. If he only knew the whole story. I looked at the big clock on the front of the school and saw that we still had about twenty minutes before the day actually started. "What do you want to do before the day really starts?" Harry shoved his hands in his pockets and thought for a moment, probably thinking about what girl he should try to pick up. "I guess we could go walk around." He said finally. I nodded and followed after him when he walked off towards our lockers. Mine was right across the hall from his, so we normally met up there on our normal daily routine. When he wanted to 'Walk around' he meant he wanted to 'Pick up girls'. That's Harry for you. As we walked down the hall way I noticed some big guys, one of them being my worst enemy, Flash Thompson, beating up some kid, who I couldn't see because Flash and his buddy's were blocking my sight. I could, however, hear the poor guy begging them to stop hitting him. I looked at Harry. "Hold on..." I sighed and turned to Flash, then put on my whole tough guy attitude. "Hey, Flash!" Flash stopped and turned around to look at me with his two buddies. He smirked and walked over to me. "Yeah Parker?" He asked, shoving me back into a locker, which I didn't really even feel a whole lot. "Pick on somebody your own size?" I scowled, pushing him back. He stumbled, not expecting me to be so strong. The funny thing was, I was hardly even trying. Flash fell over and I rolled my eyes. That made his friends laugh at him for once too, which was a huge, and I mean huge, up side. "Ow!" Flash yelped. "Ah, damn it Parker! I'll get you, just you wait." "Sure Flash, sure." I laughed. "Now why don't you go run along now and get to class?" When Flash and his pals left, I looked down at the kid that was curled up on the ground, holding his stomach. "Ah jeez." I sighed and walked over to him, then kneeled down beside him. "Hey, are you ok?" The boy looked up, and I frowned when I saw who he was. His name was Max Dillon, he was one of my other friends. He was like the kid I used to be. He wasn't very strong, he didn't come from a very rich family, and his mother recently passed away. Max was like a walking target for bullies like Flash, and he hated every bit of it. "Again?" I asked, standing up and holding out my hand. Max nodded and let me help him up. "I wish I could just be home schooled." Max groaned, still holding his stomach. "But I don't have a computer to do any of my classes on." "Why don't you talk to the principle about this?" Harry asked, putting his hand on Max's shoulder in a sort of reassuring gesture. "You think I haven't tried that? Flash is the best foot-ball player in the school, and he's huge! Who ever I talk to about this just tells me they will have a word with Flash, but we all know that means they are just going to tell him to never do it again and let him go. I'm sure they might even threaten to take him off the team, but I know they won't actually do it... he's to good at it for them to risk taking him off." "Plus Coach Larry is behind him one hundred percent." Harry added. "Exactly." Max scowled, then flinched and held up his shirt. His stomach had large bruises all over it. I looked down. "Yikes! You need to go to the nurse?" "No!" Max replied. "I don't need to go to the nurse... I'll be just fine." "If you say so." I sighed. Later that day, in Science class, the teacher was letting us have free time because everybody was finished with their weekly test. We had fifteen minutes left, so I decided to move to where Harry was sitting. "You hear about this guy?" Harry asked, putting his copy of Daily Bugle, a news paper, in my face. "He calls himself Shocker. I heard he killed Wilson Fisk." "He did?" I asked, looking at the man in the picture. It was obviously a picture caught from a security camera. The man was wearing a suit that looked a lot like a protective padding all over his body, and he had large, metal gauntlets around his wrists and hands. It looked like he was shooting some sort of strong blast from his gloves, and destroying a door in front of him. "Yeah." Harry replied. Wilson Fisk was known as the Kingpin of Crime. He was the baddest of the bad when it came to selling drugs, and weapons to gangsters all across New York. Of course, those were just rumors I had heard, but it had to have been true. They almost had photo proof on the news, but halfway through that news broadcast, they denied the evidence, saying it was fake without even showing it. I looked down and thought for a moment. If Wilson Fisk was a bad guy, and he was killed by this Shocker man, who obviously had to fight his way through hordes of guards, then Shocker had to be the next project. Shocker had to be the assassin that took my place, meaning if I found him, I found whoever did this to me, and whoever killed Uncle Ben. Tonight was going to be a long night, I knew that for sure. |

Chapter 3:
Step By Tiny Step I had been looking around for hours, and still no sign of anything. How on earth did I ever expect to find Shocker here, in New York? This city was huge, and crowded. It would be like searching for a needle in a hay stack. That is, unless I knew where to look. If Shocker was out in the city, he would be looking for somebody bad to take out, right? So, that meant I would have to find somebody evil, and vial, that Shocker would be sent out to kill. Somebody with a very high status among the druggies or killers. The thing was, however, that just finding one of these people would be hard to do. More hours passed, and I decided to call it a night. Nothing was coming up, and I was getting tired, so it was time to swing back home. All was silent for a bit, almost peaceful, until there was a sudden loud gunshot, which rang through the streets, and made my ears ring. I sighed and landed on a building to look for whoever was using firearms. "Why tonight of all nights?" I whispered, then, upon seeing nothing, jumped to another building and looked down into the dark streets below. I could see a person laying on the ground, and another running away from them. Obviously, somebody was just mugged, which meant it was time to act like a super hero again. I jumped off the side of the building, shot a web at the taller building, located on the other side of the street, and slid down to the sidewalk below. I simply threw out both of my arms and shot a large web 'net' at the man, which wrapped around his legs, and made him land face-first on the concrete. I laughed and used another web to swing over to him. I landed right next to him and pulled him up by his hair, looking him right in his terrified eyes. "You idiot. Didn't Saturday morning cartoons teach you that the good guys always win?" I asked, flipping him over, on his back. "What- Where did you come from?" The man gasped, staring at me with wide eyes. He was middle-aged, and was wearing a green and black striped shirt, with brown pants. "Up there." I said, pointing up at the roof tops. "Now, you wait right here like a good boy while I go check out the person you just shot." When he didn't respond I just walked over to the woman that was laying on the sidewalk. I crouched down next to her and sighed in relief when I noticed it was only her leg that was bleeding. She was a little curled up, so I couldn't see her face, but I could hear her whimpering. "Ma'am, I know your in a lot of pain right now, but I need you to stay calm ok? Just try to take deep breaths, and I'll make sure the paramedics get here soon ok?" I asked, gently putting my hand on her shoulder. I heard her sob something close to a yes, and pulled out my cell phone and called 911. I gave them the street name, told them the situation, then put the cell back and walked over to the man that did this. "What's your deal?" I scowled. "You think that you can just shoot somebody and take money from them?" "I didn't kill them!" He argued, trying to pull the webbing off of his legs. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up to eye level with me. I could see the fear as he stared into the white, glassy lenses. I laughed lightly, then threw the man up towards a lamp post, then jumped after him quickly, flew past him, and shot webs around his body and made him hand upside down from the post. I jumped down from my perch, and landed below him. His eyes were at level with mine, but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking, with horrified eyes, over my shoulder. "What? Not going to look at me now?" I wondered, just before a loud boom made me jump back. A large, energy-like blast hit the man from his left side, and made him fly into the side of the post and crack his skull on it. I turned quickly to see what the hell did that, and saw none other then the man I was looking for: Shocker. "What the hell was that?!" I yelled, stomping towards him. "You just killed that man!" "It's what I'm paid to do, son." Shocker said coolly, crossing his arms. "The man's name was Flint Marco. He owes the people I work for loads of cash, or at least... he did." Shocker let out a kind of low chuckle after he said that, and I balled my hands into fists. "Who do you work for?" I asked, keeping my arms at my sides and telling myself mentally to keep my cool. "Same people you used to web-head." Shocker laughed. "What do you call yourself, anyways?" Web-head... that was new. "Spiderman." I replied. "Ok, I know you work for the same people I did, but who are they, and where do they?" "Oh, they're around. They've been following you around for a while, watching you at school and home." "They?" I frowned. This was getting me no-where fast. Shocker was dodging my questions. "Well..." Shocker chuckled. "More like me." "Great..." I sighed. Well, if he wasn't going to willfully tell me anything, I would just have to make him talk. I jumped up into the air and came down with my legs out to hit him with a hard kick in his jaw, and, come to think about it, if I wanted somebody to tell me information, would breaking his jaw be a good idea? Shocker threw his hands up in my direction quickly, and before I knew it, I was flying the other direction like a rag-doll, and slamming into the side of a building, and then falling down into a dark ally. it wasn't long after that before I was dead asleep. |

Anybody catch the Spiderman movie reference here? Haha, tell me if you do, although I think it will be rather easy.
Chapter 4: News Paper "That... sucked..." I muttered as I stood from the spot I was laying in. I was slightly happy, because the paramedics must not have seen me when they came for the girl. Alls that was left was a small blood stain where her leg was bleeding on the sidewalk. I looked up and then jumped on to the closest wall, and crawled up to the top of the building, and then swung home. I still felt like I was hit by tons of bricks, and I was ready to call it a night now that I had actually found Shocker, and he gave me one useful piece of information, and that was the fact that he was watching me. If I found him, I could catch him by surprise. When I was home, I did the usual. I snuck into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep. -The next day- Wake up, shower, get dressed, eat something small, and head to school. That was my early morning routine, and this morning was no exception. After I was finished with the usual, I ran off to school and found Harry, who was just dropped off by his father, Norman. "Ready for another boring-" Harry began, but I interrupted him. "Every morning Harry? Really?" "Until the day I die." Harry smirked. I laughed and followed him as he walked off towards his locker. I was pleased to see that Max was opening his locker today, not getting shoved inside of it. "Hey Max." I smiled. "How's it going?" Max looked over at us and smiled. I noticed he looked... better, more happy then before. "Great!" Max said. "I got my first job last night, so now I can make some money." "That's good news Max." Harry replied. "Where do you work?" "Oh, I got a job at the Daily Bugle." Max said proudly. "I was hired to take pictures of this Shocker guy. I'm going to get lots of cash just for one good picture of him." That was sort of unsettling news. The fact that Max was going to put himself in harms way to make some money at his age was pretty sad. "Max, you would get lots of cash because it's dangerous." I sighed. "Are you sure you really want to do that? I don't want you getting hurt." Max rolled his eyes. "Don't worry about it Peter, I'll be fine. Trust me." I sighed and followed behind the two when they started to walk off towards class. -English- "When the hell is lunch?" Harry muttered, stretching in his seat. I was busy writing a paper, but it was almost finished so I figured talking to Harry for a few couldn't hurt anything. "Same time it is every day pal." I replied, smirking to myself. "Yeah, but your forgetting the same time every day I talk about being hungry." Harry snickered, then frowned. "God I hate having to wait to eat lunch." "Don't you eat anything for breakfast Harry? It's the most important meal of the day you know." Harry laughed. "Pete, I hardly eat anything. I think I only eat lunch and a small snack when I get home." "That explains why your so skinny then." I said, closing the note book I was using to write with. "What do you think about Max's new job?" "With the paper?" Harry replied, then thought for a moment. "Hm, well I guess it is a little hard to say at the moment, because I don't think he's even made any cash yet. I'll judge when I hear how much money he gets." "But your not worried about him getting hurt with this job? Would you take pictures of highly dangerous criminals if you wanted money?" I frowned. "I might." Harry shrugged. "Depends on how much they are offering, like I said before." I sighed. "You are such an interesting person Harry." "Nope." Harry smiled proudly. "Not interesting, greedy." I stared at him for a moment, then chuckled slightly. "The fact that you just admitted it says it all." I replied. Harry nodded, still smiling, and looked down at his note book in front of him, which was still blank. Harry didn't do a lot of writing in class, mostly because he explained to me that he works in his house much better, because it is the environment where he can be at peace with everything. He looked back at me and closed his book. "Want to come over tonight for dinner or something? It's been about five weeks since you last came over." It had been five weeks because I liked to go searching for criminals and killers in my free time... "Sure Harry." I smiled, trying to be friendly. I found Shocker and got my butt beat, so maybe it was time to just relax for a night. "Are you sure your dad won't mind?" "Nah." Harry shook his head. "Dad doesn't care as long as I'm happy." "I see." I smiled. "Well, in that case, what time should I come over?" -2 hours later- I walked off to my locker to get my things after the last bell rang. I wasn't supposed to meet Harry at his place for another two hours, but I was going to use the free time I had to try to find Shocker again, to see if he was following me. I figured even if I was taking the night off, two hours of web-time couldn't hurt. Once I was off campus I called Aunt May on my cell and told her I was going to Harry's to hang out for a little bit, and she said that was fine and to be home before to late so I could get to bed in time for school. After I was done on the phone I walked casually into an ally, made sure nobody was looking, and climbed to the top of a brick building I was next to. Once I was on top of the building, I opened up my book bag and took off my button-up t-shirt, revealing my suit underneath. I pulled off my shoes to take off my jeans, then put them back on. They were black boots that went with the armor, but they looked almost like casual slip-ons. Once that was all over with I opened up the front pocket of my bag and pulled out my gloves and my mask, then put my clothes in the bag and swung off. I didn't have a hard time remembering where I put my book bag if I just left it on the top of a building. I was swinging around for about half an hour before a sudden bright light blinded me, and made me fall from the web I was swinging on and land on a building. I tried to land on my feet, but I was still kind of blinded, and wound up tripping and falling on my face. "Whoa dude, are you ok?" Max's voice asked as I heard his foot steps coming towards me. "Just... great..." I muttered. "Only a little blind, but I am ok." I sat up and looked at him. How in the hell did he know I was swinging around, and how in the hell did he get up on the roof top in time to take a picture of me? "Sorry, I was just trying to get a picture of you for the Daily Bugle. You know, the news paper." "Yeah, I know who they are." I sighed. "Couldn't you have just called me over here so I could pose for you or something?" "Well, for one, that wouldn't look very realistic if I didn't actually get a shot of you doing your swinging thing there, and two, how could I call you if I don't know your name?" Max explained, ticking off the two examples with his fingers. "Good points." I grumbled. "Did you get your picture, or do you need another?" Max looked at his camera and hit a few buttons, then smiled. "Nope, I got a nice one of you swinging, or whatever." "Good, see you around, uh... kid." I said, then jumped to the side. "By the way, I'm calling myself Spiderman, make sure the guys at the Bugle know that for me would you? I wouldn't want them calling me something stupid like... 'Human Spider'." "You got it Spiderman." Max smiled. I nodded at him, then jumped off the edge and swung away. |

This needs revived. I am writing a lot of things, however, right now I am writing the next chapter to Revovled. I am not letting the book die, and it has been on my mind for quite some time. I just lost a lot of inspiration with writing for a bit. (Thank you Spiderman: SD!)

I know it has been a while, so this chapter is a little short, just getting everything back in the mood. It's not the best, but it does kind of show more of the swinging action, and things like that. Also, when Spiderman goes into describing things like video games, and he actually describes how he plays them, that is sort of staying true to the comics when he has his talk-boxes (I don't know what the boxes are called, but it's where they show what he thinks, haha.)
Chapter 5: Harry "Note to self: Wear long underwear." I flew through the air at extremely high speeds, soaring past windows of tall buildings. The wind rushed past me, making me shiver slightly. It made me feel so free. I did a mid-air summersault, then threw both of my arms out to each side, and shot a couple of webs. When I felt the tension of them latching onto the buildings at my sides, I let myself fall freely. Before I hit the ground, the webs stretched to their max, and then sent me flying up into the air like a catapult. I landed on the side of a building, then ran and jumped. A little while later, I found myself standing on the top of a really tall building. I stretched, then walked to the side. I peered over the edge, looking down into the busy streets below. It reminded me of a video game I used to play called Frogger. You played as this little green frog that had to make it's way across the street without getting run over by a car. If you did, you would die. I blinked and looked back up. This wasn't a time to be thinking about childhood video games. I stepped back and sighed, then walked over to a gargoyle and crouched down on it slightly. I looked down at the streets below again, and then back up at the buildings all throughout the city. The view up here was... it was amazing. Light skimmed across the surface of a few ponds in Central Park, and reflected off of the many windows of the tall skyscrapers all around me. I stood on the gargoyle, feeling more wind rush past me. I held out my arms and let it happen, let it wash over me. It was cold, but nice. Eventually, I dropped from the building and shot out a web. I soared, then jumped, then shot another. This repeated for a long time until I reached the building I threw my clothes down on. I picked up the pack, threw the straps over my shoulders, then took off again. I went all the way to the Osborn's mansion, web-zipped to the top, and threw the bag off. The mansion was extremely tall, almost the size of a skyscraper. The bottom half was used as Norman Osborn's personal labs. Some of the scientists from Oscorp came here from their usual work to get some supplies, or to use technology that was only stationed here. Osborn left his labs open to all of his employees. The actual first floor was a lobby floor with an elevator, and security and everything. Fortunately, the guards new about me and Harry being best friends. They didn't have to card me or anything when I came in, they just let me go on. I changed my clothes and left the suit in the bag this time. I carried the bag with me on my back as I dropped down. Just before I could hit the ground, I shot a web up and stopped myself from hitting the ground hard, slowing myself enough to just feel a small shock in my thighs and knees. I cracked my neck and walked out of the ally I landed in, and up to the front doors. The two guards inside looked at me and smiled. One of them said hi to me, and I replied cheerfully, keeping up the good-boy act. I walked to the elevator and hit the "P" button, which took me up to the penthouse. I waited for a minute, then smiled when the doors opened. I walked out of the small box, and into the main room of the Osbron's home. I heard Mr. Osborn talking in the other room to somebody. His voice was firm and business-like. I walked the other direction, and knocked on Harry's door. He quickly answered and smiled at me. "Hey Pete." he said. "Hey Harry." I smiled back. "How's homework coming?" "Actually," Harry said in a slightly apologetic tone. "I already finished it. Sorry Pete." I shrugged, then entered his room and threw my bag down on his bed. "It's cool. Just will give us more time to hang out, right?" Harry nodded. "Yeah, right. So, what's new since we last talked?" What was new? We had only talked just recently. Nothing would be new. "Not much." I sighed. "Who's your dad talking to? Somebody on the phone?" Harry shrugged. "No idea. He has some Oscorp employee here, but that's all I know." I nodded, then sighed and looked around. Harry noticed my bored expression, and gestured towards the living room. "So, wanna play some video games?" "Sure, why not." I replied, and followed him out into the living room, where he turned on the huge flat-screen TV. As he did, I listened in on Norman's conversation. I didn't hear much though. "I suppose I should be on my way." a male voice grumbled. "Thank you for your time Mr. Osborn. I will be sure to inform you on any other advancements in our... project." "Of course." Norman replied. The door creaked open and the two men stepped out. Norman was a tall guy, and this other man was a little shorter, but still taller then me. Norman and the man looked at the two of us and Norman smiled. "Ah, Herman, this is Harry's friend Peter. He's like a... son to me." Herman smiled and extended his arm. I smiled and shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Herman." I said, even though I didn't know a thing about the guy. Something didn't feel right about him. The man was bald, he had a scar running down the side of his face from the top of his head. He looked rough, not the science type. "The pleasure is all mine, Peter." the man said. His grip was quite strong, and he didn't seem to let go. It was almost like iron. "Nice grip you have there..." I commented lowly, the feeling becoming stronger, almost like a buzzing in my head. The man took his hand back and nodded. "Been working out. Thank you." he turned to Norman. "Well, I really do have to go now... I will see you soon Mr. Osborn." Norman nodded and waved after Herman as he left. He turned back to Harry and I and smiled. "Well, you two have fun on the TV, I'm going to go out and pick up some dinner." Norman left as well, and I watched after him. Once he was gone Harry waited for me to turn back to him. "You ok Pete?" "I don't know why..." I muttered. "But that Herman guy creeps me out..." So this Chapter has much, much more interesting parts then the last. Sorry it was such a slow chapter, but hey, I made it pretty short right?
![]() Chapter 6: Thunder I left Harry's feeling slightly relieved. I was ready to go home and get some sleep. Norman was nice enough to provide dinner for us both. It was really good too. As soon as I left the building, I walked around to the ally I had dropped into, then shot up into the air and climbed up to the top of the large tower. I picked up my bag and took out my suit. I changed, the cold even worse than before, and threw the bag on my back again, then took off. I went for a few blocks, until something caught my eye: a man in a yellow and red suit standing on top of a building, watching me through binoculars. I landed on a taller building and waved at him in a cocky manner. He pulled the binoculars down and pulled the yellow mask over his head before I could see his face. I jumped off the roof top, shot a web, and pulled myself down beside him. "Well hi there, stranger!" I yelled as my feet touched the surface. Shocker stared at me, not replying. I cocked my head to the side and shrugged. "Fine, be a sour-puss!" I said, jumping away. I landed a few feet away from him. "We have some unfinished business to attend to, don't we? Ohhh... I used some big words there, were they too much for you puny brain to-" I stopped suddenly as his glove started to charge up. "Annnnnddd... that's my cue!" I jumped up into the air as a large way shot from his glove in my direction. I did a back-flip, and landed even further away. "My turn." Shocker made a pissed sound, and I leaped at him like a tiger. Have you ever had one of those moments where you did something really, really stupid, but you didn't realize it until it was only a split-second too late? Welcome to Spider-World. Shocker threw both of his arms out towards me. A huge wave spiraled at me, and I was already in the air, so I didn't have anything to do but curse Newton and his stupid laws of physics... if I wasn't in pain, that is. I flew back across the building, sliding painfully on the hard surface. My whole body shook like a tuning-fork, which was fitting, because we were using them in a lab in Science the next day. "You sure do got a mouth on ya, don't ya bug?" Shocker growled as he stalked towards me. "And you sure do got a lot of padding, don't ya...?" I trailed off, not being able to come up with a name for him, so I just jumped to another sentence. "I mean, seriously! Have you ever considered changing your name to Mr. Snuggles? With a Z? It would be so cute!" Shocker growled, and I rolled out of the way as he shot another blast at me. It hit the surface, and busted through to the inside of the building. Screames sounded from the cracks as more of the roof began to crumble. I quickly whipped off the back-pack and threw it to a flag pool, then webbed it so that it would stay. Once that was finished I turned to Shocker. "Witty banter, it's my thing." Shocker stared at me, his eyes almost starting to light on fire with fury. His gloves charged up again, and I jumped over him. I wound up landing on his shoulders, so I started punching him like hell before he could retaliate. A sudden blast hit the ground below us, and I flew off of Shocker's back. I landed on my butt, and Shocker was now catapulted up into the air. "You can use those things to jump? Seriously?" I called, then ducked as another blast shot over my head. Shocker landed in front of me and looked down, as did I. The surface was starting to crack even more, some of it crumbled beneath my feet. "Oh crap..." I sighed just as the ground shattered and I fell through. Shocker vaulted down after me and we landed in the main lobby of... some place. People were running around, some of them screaming their heads off like no tomorrow. I looked at Shocker, who was a bit stunned by the people pushing him aside in their craziness. I used this time to run before he looked back at me. Where we were, I didn't know, but I did know one thing: this building had an elevator... somewhere. I pushed past a few people and heard Shocker yell "Get back here boy!!" I didn't looked back, just kept running. Suddenly, one of the blasts hit a pillar beside me and knocked it over. It nearly fell on me, but I rolled out of the way. When I looked back, I saw a large sign that said Daily Bugle on it. Great... Shocker charged at me, his gloves lit up like Christmas lights. I turned and ran as another blast flew past me, hitting the wall and sending little chunks flying. I yelped, then ran through a pair of double doors. A man with a Hitler mustache stood in my way, so I just pushed him aside and kept running. "What the hell!" the man's rough voice yelled from behind me as Shocker ran past. I ran to the elevators, and luckily, one was open. I ran inside, crunching myself in with a bunch of other people, one of them incredibly obese. Shocker ran around the corner and growled as the doors shut. I did another cocky wave just in time for him to see. Cheesy elevator music played, and everybody was silent. I could feel all of the piercing stares on me. I looked back at all of the people and waved slightly, then said in a out-of-breath voice "Hi... how you doing?" Everybody kept staring at me and I looked back at the doors. "Ooook then, glad to hear it..." Once the doors opened I walked out and propped myself up against the wall. "Damn..." I sighed. I still felt eyes on me, so I looked over. Max Dillon stood there with his camera around his neck. His eyes were wide, shocked. "Hey." I said. "What was that?" Max breathed. "A very bad man trying to kill me?" I replied with a sigh. Max shook his head. "That was... that was crazy..." "Your telling me." I grumbled, leaning my back against the wall, and sliding down slowly. "You should get out of here." Suddenly, there was a loud explosion from the elevator shaft. The metal doors flew off and suddenly, it was as though everything went in slow motion. As the doors flew towards Max, I jumped, and tackled him down. I just barely avoided them myself. The two of us landed on the floor, unharmed. I looked up as the smoke cleared. Shocker walked slowly from the thick, grey cloud. "When I told you to get back there..." Shocker growled. "I meant it, boy." |
