Talking Addictive Facebook Games!

Being that this is, afterall the Eidos gaming forum, I felt I needed to mention other games on good ole' Facebook!

OK so I have tried a few but very few appeal. Some FB applications like Bejeweled Blitz can earn prizes and I do play that religiously - my highest score to date was well over 450,000

I've tried Mafia Wars and it just does not appeal at all. I also tried Farmville but that truly sucked! But a game I am now totally addicted to on Facebook is "Zoo Paradise". Arguably a similar genre to Farmville, it runs a lot quicker and you can do a whole lot more. You simply buy habitats and add animals - the higher the level you reach, the more you can buy. But you can upgrade everything you buy that attracts visitors. You can buy decorative benches and plants. Some don't earn you any money but some plants earn you level-up points when you water them.

I am currently on level 12 I would not normally reccomend anything to other Facebookers but I even got Ruum Taedor to play this one and he appears to be enjoying it when he has the time!

You can also add neighbours and then visit their zoos and every few hours or so, you can pick litter up in their zoos (to earn level-up points), and find coins!

So if you are on FB and want to add me as a neighbour, look up Lo Archer! I'll send you free gifts if you are very nice haha! Oh and don't forget to say you are from Eidos so I know it's fairly safe to add you!!

Lo Archer, i shall add you. Look out for incoming Callum R.. request.

My friend has tried to convince me to play Mobsters, however i only motivate myself to go on facebook for updates on my pages, notifications and so forth.

I know that Farmville is extremely popular with almost all the people i know, all my ex did when she was on the laptop round mine was harvest her crops. made me chuckle.

Try not to get too hooked on fb games they are oh so time consuming. And i don't even spend to much time online at all at the moment, i have revision for my a/s levels. Last one tomorrow.

I'm like you Lo, Bejeweled Blitz for the win!

I used to play Mafia wars in the early days of college... fun times.

My family tried to get me into that one. My brother would be overthrowing banks with dozens of armored trucks while I would be walking into a convenience store with a weenie pistol...never really got the point of that game

Thumbs up

Thanks Ants!! Good luck with your results Cazzer!

Oh I can't believe it I got over 500,000 in Bejeweled Blitz this tournament, Ants!! That's my highest score ever. And no, I didn't cheat (but I know someone who managed it somehow). I published the video on my wall. I didn't use any boosts either. Now I won't play again this tournament because I know I'll never beat my own score

I'm doing great on Zoo Paradise. I added 13 neighbours meaning I earn more points by visiting their zoos. But it can be a bit sluggish - especially if you are visiting someone with like 200 acres full of attractions!

Me thinks I need to have a go on it... I've not been on it in about 2 weeks And nice score by the way! I think my highest has been something like 180,000... can never seem to get it past that!

Never really got into Farmville either!

I used to play a lot of FB games on my Michael Jackson profile, then stopped.

Anyone played Mafia with friends? It's pretty fun, oh, and it's not a video game.

EDIT: The number of members to moderators is 2 to 8, I feel very outnumbered.

I tried Mafia Wars but it's not my sort of game. I don't like strategy games of that ilk.

But on Zoo Paradise I am now in evil pocession of like 20 neighbours thanks to a post on the application's FB home page I don't interact much with my "new friends" as many are French and Italian and aren't too good at English and vice versa. But I do pop by their walls and thank them for being my neighbours as the more neighbours you acquire, the more you can do! I'm on level 19 now.

It's great, I get up of a morning to find up to 75 bags of coins waiting to be clicked on and collected

Farmville just didn't do it for me, Angelus

I didn't Mafia as in "Mafia Wars" but a real-life game you play.

It's pretty fun.
