Unhappy No Multiplayer?

Out of all the games that would benefit from multiplayer, Just Cause 2 doesn't have it?.

I know this is a huge game, but even a bare bones chunk of the map designed solely for multiplayer would be sufficient.

No plans for DLC announced either? Just look at Borderlands, a fairly ordinary game that is pretty much surviving on DLC right now. And the newest DLC is only fun in multiplayer.

I will still get Just Cause 2 because it looks like my kind of game, but Multiplayer is an essential part of a game for consoles.

Don't want multiplayer? develop it specifically for the PC then.

And don't give me that crap about achieving limits (ditching multiplayer), Just Cause 2 already raises the bar for open world environments, so it's not like adding multiplayer would ruin your creative vision.

Just don't release DLC that is crap. Ie: skins and costumes. We've got enough expensive cosmetic junk already in our games.

How would you imagine Co-op in this game.
You'd play 5 minutes and have already lost your mate.

But it would still be great.

Yes, and It would be weird to play co-op in such a action filled game like Just Cause 2.

i agree multiplayer would be great. Grand Theft Auto is multiplayer and it could work much like that maybe up to 4 players and you can free roam and cause chaos but with friends! It could work perfect. And they could still possibly make a free dlc of it. Now i love just cause 2 because of its free roam and awsome vechiles and destruction but it would be greater with friends. Imagine someone driving a vechile and the other standing or haing on shooting at the millatary. Awsomely Destructive if you ask me

Also there are vechiles that you can get in the guns but then you cant drive so why not add multiplayer and let you have a full boat better combat stragize with friends.

Even a competitive multiplayer with no co-op feature would be better than nothing.

Also mercenairies 2 a game with a fully destructible environment and a big world like panu had multiplayer. So i dont see why a not fully destructable world wont have multiplayer. And it wouldnt be that hard to make if only 2-4 people can play.

Multiplayer is not an essential part of games, loads of amazing games are single player and they are not going away soon. Go back to MW2.

LOL @ the op saying if you don't want multiplayer design it ONLY FOR PC.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

PC is the definition of multiplayer. >.> There are more people playing games online on PC right now than all consoles combined. Guaranteed.

I love how anyone who posts about multiplayer automatically gets assaulted with ad hominem attacks and strawmen. True idiots.

The game would be awesome with multiplayer. Period. It would add to the replayability for one, and be much moar fun if you could team up with at least another character.

Yay I get to bust out this again!

And here is why...

(The abridged version)

Time spent on multiplayer = huge amount of time spent away from gameplay development therefore less stuff to do and ways to do it

Servers to host the multiplayer are expensive and this game wasn't a guarantied best seller so the game would have been more expensive for less.

Every other game and his dog has multiplayer and people only focus on one at a time. As soon as something new came out you would switch over and BAM this games influence drops considerably.

The avalanche engine is an amazing piece of tech but hardly anything could run two lots of panau at the same time. If the engine cant support it then there's no way it would work.
