Run & Gun

Playing the demo has showed how dif JC2 is to JC1...as in JC1 you could just go crazy into any army base and run & gun till everyone was dead because aiming was too easy, enemy died easily, Rico could take many shots and explosives without diying and enemy had terrible accuracy...

In JC2 you cant play that way because aiming takes skill, enemy can take more shots, Rico can be killed by fewer shots and grenades are deadly, and the enemy is much bolder in their accuracy and tactics, they throw grenades often, take cover, ect...

so it will take more skill to play this time which leads to more satisfying moments!!

does anyone think they can have success by running and gunning???I doubt it.

If you have the right vehicles and equipment, I suppose you could run and gun thru a light military installment.

with much ammo yes, definately but the ammo limit for the m4a1(whatever it is) is 180 or so? But machine gun comes more and has 210 limit. These limits are too low

When you upgrade your guns, their ammo capacity increases

I can walk and gun... with my favorite weapon, the trusted mini-gun...

as a side note. You can not put the mini-gun in the back of a truck to transport it around, it falls through the vehicle... wish you could... then every car would have a gun... my gun...

I have marksman like style, i use any weapon exept Shotty, i keep back aiming for headshots or pulling em from ledges if they are over me. But when i met the Topachula and the Razorback, i become a monster

all I have found myself doin in the demo is run and gun with the occasional use of the grapple, but then again I usually just use it as another evade so pretty much run and gun.

Yes. That's all there really is. The only real alternative is sniping.

I find military base missions so boring, because all you basically do is scavenge the area in search of destroyable objects and parts.. no real excitement there..

As for that 1 house where Colonel Lee is, my god that ones HARD.. I still havent beaten it.. All I know is he doesnt take bullet damage and he cant be thrown by grapples so the only way to kill him is by a grenade or the grenade launcher, but even then are his guards so smart and strong aswell.

I havent beaten that mission yet and gave up, but all the others all follow the same aspect.. blow up this, collect that, and your done.

Headshots. There's a sniper on the roof, go up there, take his rifle and a single headshot will do the job.

HARD?! I took him out with a few pistol bullets in the head, if you dont get it to work, just take that armored truck near him and give him a Buick stamp on his armor.

LOL I did that once, i've also tried 100's of other things but the best is go on top of the mansion or one of the sniper towers (wherever this is) and get a sniper, shoot general in head = 1 hit k/o, also i'm gonna try to run and gun on hardest difficulty for the fun of it, especially seeing as how I can almost always get away when in danger by rolling a lot.

killing a colonel is easy with helicopter mounted rockets

I did the same except I dropped a helicopter instead. I also tried flying a plane straight down into him but it only took away half of his life.

Lol well see I never thought it would be hard in the first place because of the fact that all the other military bases and missions in the demo were a breeze, but then i get to 1 challenge thats TOTALLY unexpected and i get owned.. lol

I havent seen the sniper, and i thought his head would be armored as well seeing as how I stood infront of him and shot him for about 5 minutes.. lol
