Default Michael Rosenbaum to return to Smallville?

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit.../news/?a=15255

Quote:
The Superman Homepage received word that Brian Doherty, who was just this month promoted to Senior VP, national sales, of The CW has revealed that the execs at The CW are excited about a 10th season for "Smallville", wanting to really "go out with a bang".

The word is that they're attempting to close a deal with Michael Rosenbaum to return as Lex Luthor, wanting to sign him up for at least 9 or 10 episodes.

Apparently an announcement will be made one way or the other very soon.
If true, I can definitely see Lex killing off Tess for befriending Clark and not exploiting his secret. Hopefully they can close a deal and have Lex return, he was definitley one of the best parts of the show.

but the one question I would have is how is he going to appear, I don't want him to stay dead, but I want him to forget clark's secret and start heading our way to superman.

I can't quick reply for some reason to spoiler tag some of it , sorry if I spoiled anyone.

The show has been terrible actually since he left. I was telling my friends when he was rumored of leaving if he does Smallville will have a huge decline story wise.

Harris did ok in frontier but if your doing a wally west version Mike is a pimp been watching justice league now and he cracks me up every time...

with the red hair,he could actually make a pretty good wally in live action, too, but I think that's how Smallville should end, with luthor returning, and the media coverage, followed by him taking back the reins of luthor corp.,and in the final episode, announcing his run for presidency, while Clark dons glasses at the beginning of season 10,and on the last episode, takes flight as superman with his red,and blues, and saves a bus full of people,at the end,we see perry white come out of his office, cigar in his hand, asking Lois and Clark how their stories are coming along.Cut to a newsboy with red hair,a bowtie, and freckles, delivering papers to a vendor,we see a close up shot with the headline reading,THE SUPERMAN OF METROPOLIS,by Lois Lane, with a column next to that that reads Luthor announces candidacy,by Clark Kent.Roll Credits.

Michael Rosenbaum shot down the idea of returning as the criminal mastermind, Lex Luthor

Quote:
Well found this on KryptonSite.com- Michael Rosenbaum posted today on Twitter that good news is coming, but that a Smallville return is not in the cards.

"Sorry. It's not Smallville related. I've already stated that I'm not returning. I'd never lead you guys on like that. I appreciate your support," he wrote.

He did, however, reveal he has a funny role in Christian Slater's upcoming FOX TV pilot about a group of computer hackers. More information about that project should be available soon. Additionally, as soon as we know more about Michael's "exciting news" you'll be able to read about it on kryptonsite homepage. Well to me this is some straight up BS! It's only for a couple episode's maybe 2-7 not the whole season, you get paid! right now I havent seen you on anything else! Just come back for the fans! and how the hell is it not Smallville related?

Well it looks like MR just dug his own smallville grave......maybe he'll change his mind.
