I 'm stuck on the mechanism in the grinder room that's supposed to open the gate to the upper waterwheel room, the posts slide on the rails when you pull them with the grapple but they just slide straight back again, help please.

This was supposed to be a puzzle, but I watched the trailer and for me, it got ruined. Just attach the grapple and walk around them, then pull.
