i deleted the save game and started over .. when i got to the room with the gems and arms i made note of the steps ... i first went to my right (the statue's left arm the one with the missing balance scale), lowered the arm, did the crystal "puzzle", let it tell me it was missing one, turned the ones that were there ... then went to the statue's right arm, lowered the arm, did the gem "puzzle" and took the crystal for the other side, put the gem in the statue, raised the arm... went back to the other side (the statue's left arm), put the crystal in the puzzle, took the gem, put in the statue, and raised the arm ... came down to the circle with the two mirrors and moved them both into the light ... i did the one on my right first (the statue's left side) then the other ... the next room with the blue rock that must be turned i just did like normal ... went into the room with the missing lever and it WAS THERE
... i saved the game and powered off ... went back in and it is still there
i copied that backup to an sd card so if anyone can't get it going and they have an sd card that they can write to with their pc let me know and i can upload somewhere.
i sure hope the rest of the game is worth the effort
ps:
- something i noticed ... the save game now has the correct room name "puppet no longer" ... when i had no lever, it said "ancient world" on the saves
- probably not related but i got all 7/7 treasures in the first level and 0/3 in this level
