Are we back in the early 90's? Using a 400MHz PC with integrated graphics?
Because this is how it feels playing TRU on a PS3.
I understand not getting 120FPS as I do on my PC. I can even live with not getting 60FPS which is a default playable setting for most games....but not even 30FPS?? What the hell??

There are parts of the game where frame rate drops to under 10 FPS! This is outrageous for any game on any system! Not to mention making it unplayable.
I mean for God's sake... my eyes hurt from all the page tearing and slideshows! Literally!

Is anyone doing something about this? Does Eidos really treat it's paying customers like this these days?

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I just can't believe this.. it's like TR series it going backwards in quality. Don't get me wrong, the game is great, the story, the graphics is solid.. but the frame rate.. the only thing the programmers had to get right for the PS3.. absolutely horrid. I'd rather ditch the graphics for a solid frame rate, as I'm sure most people would.

This is not only me talking. I've heard the same thing from many friends, but I didn't think it was this bad.
So is anything gonna be done to fix this? Or is this destined to be the last TR game I, and many others, ever buy?

No wonder it's selling dirt cheap everywhere...

C'mon Eidos... at least make a decent PC port. Especially since most of your game owners are PS3 users. Is being fair to paying customers so hard?

Your PS3 might have gone crappy.

Sorry Helegad but unfortunately LfmC is right, the framerate on the PS3 version is pretty bad. The XBOX 360 version has its framerate locked at 30 FPS but the PS3 version is variable; sometimes you'll get frames in the high 30s but in other areas (enemies on screen) the framerate will dip to the teens-low 20s and is very noticeable. This not only makes Lara's movements erratic and jerky but affects the camera as well.

Anyway, it's just another example of a multi-platform game that is not properly optimized for the PS3 hardware. The PS3 has the grunt to easily chew through TRU but got the short end of the stick due to poor developing/porting.
