"An Island in chaos" trailer and explosions

Bringing back old topic:
Sounds of explosions seems to be enhanced in "An island in chaos" trailer, pretending to be not that "popcorn" style.
And I think its kinda wrong to show not real ingame videos/sounds.

What do U guys think bout that?

Well the game being developed so small things are bound to be changed. I didn't notice though.

Im a harsh critic of the sound effects in JC2 not because theyre all terrible but because theyre better in JC1 and theres no reason to downgrade something excellent...

I agree that it sounds pretty good in that trailer and hope it will be so in the finished product...but as its a trailer I would like to see some real time gameplay to be sure.

If there's something that's easily fixed it's the sound of explosions. Replace audio file. So, if it sounds too bad in the end, they will regret it forever, lol.

you gotta have an opinion...just watch the 2 vids I linked to compare in the "for the last time, the sound sucks'' thread...You can say what you honestly think...I think sound is improving from what it was in early vids...but Im not sure its better or equal to JC1...

Still I think this game is the maximum expression of what digital entertainment should be...
It kicks ass...big time.

OK! I just saw the "new controvetsial short but still funny" vid and I think I finally have an oppinion.
They have changed it??? The explosions sure have ceased to sound like *plak* and *pop*! I'm not sure, but I'd say I like the way they sound now
Or at least the big ones. Maybe the barrels still sound like *plak*?

true...I think it has been improved in some respect...but the barrels are probably the same.
