Also shoot the pilot in a helicopter or driver in a vehicle? Because in this like > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BOtdFUDdFI < during the last 2 minutes, 3 or so helicopters started to attack to which he grappled to them but only killed the passenger. He kills 1 passenger grappled underneath it and moved (leaving that helicopter still in the hands of a pilot so could still kill him, stupid) onto the next helicopter where killed passenger and did the 'struggle' animation to get the pilot out. Obviously if you kill the pilot the helicopter will go out of control but that's more ideal when you don't want to pilot that particular vehicle otherwise take too long having to do the 'struggle' animation every time. I'm guessing you can shoot the pilot because there's nothing saying you cant but i haven't seen this happen so can anyone confirm this?

I think he only shoots passengers and never the pilot or driver of a vehicle...

to kill a vehicle occupant while in stunt position, that occupant must hang out the door trying to shoot you...or so its been shown so far.

pilots and drivers never leave their seat and its unknown if they can be shot there..

maybe like you say you can kill them where they seat by shooting through the windshield...but then that vehicle might crash before you grapple somewhere else...

I agree...Its something I would like to see in action...Rico shooting someone through the windshield.

Yeh that's what I don't get at all because you can move the reticule all around and when Rico's leaning to the right there's nothing at all that preventing his arm physically moving and aiming the reticule further to the left to shoot through the windshield... :scratch:

i think you can shoot the pilot because during the end of the first mini doc he shot the pilot through the window and it went out of control. but it did catch on fire and i dont think shooting the pilot would make it catch on fire

Yes, at around 2:58 in this video after he shoots the pilot through the windscreen of the chopper, you can see the driver dead while the helicopter is spinning around

nice find but it doesn't mean the driver is necessarily dead, he could be alive but the helicopter is out of control. Saying this, still in two videos shots are fired at the window (or through) and they both look like they are done purposely so i think you can kill him through the window

It would take a while for it to get out of control but if you can shoot him while he is in the seat does he fall out? can you pull him out without a struggle? or will there be like a random unneccesary struggle with a dead guy ?

true....he shot them trough the glass....but that is an old video and devs do make last minute changes...I hope they dont..

Like Mercs 2 where videos showed a nice feature where you could change from driving position directly to gunner position with a button press in vehicles with mounted guns...

then, what do you know....whala....wasnt in the game!!....thats why that game disappointed me big time....they didnt hold true to what they had advertised...but this team is different I hope.

Cheers mate great find exactly what I was looking for! :thumb: It's good because he shot threw the windscreen and in the next scene the same helicopter is spiralling out of control and you can see the pilot leaning forwards (dead). However unfortunate that was that happened with Mercs 2 I highly doubt they'l take this ability away so happy 'bird' hunting! :D

Mmm, thanks for the link, but it's not convincing. The camera changes as if it was a different scene and the chopper is burning and about to explode, so we still don't know if we can kill the pilot

If that isn't convincing enough for you that you personally can shoot through the windscreen and kill the pilot, you can't deny the fact the pilot was leaning forwards dead in the 2nd camera angle true?
Which means the pilot can be killed whilst still sitting in helicopter ;)
