Enemy paratroopers?

I wanted to know for sure, if factions/panays men can use parachutes or not?

If so, does the same also apply to ricos back-up?

In Walkthrough 1 you see Paratroopers coming down for back up which have been called by the Military. I'm not sure if the factions have Paratroopers but Rico can't call for back up, where did you here that? Because I haven't of this.

is the paratroopers scripted, or can they drop down at any time?

I figured ricos allies would be able to parachute cause you can see them jumping out with rico in one of the gameplay trailers.

I don't know for definite but I believe they only come if called by back up so not scripted. They join you in some missions but Rico can't call for back up.

So enemy paratroopers will try and take rico down if called on, which can also happend in freeroam mode right?

Sounds like something that would only happen during a mission, but if it's true, then thats effin awsum!

Hmm that's a good question regarding if they come in free roam but in the Walkthrough 1 video, Rico is taking down a settlement to unlock a mission so the back up was called outside of a mission but not in the middle of the desert. No problem mate:thumb:

obisily there not because he is attacking a base on his own acord if what he is doing isnt scripted the paratroopers arnt but they may have preset drop points

I just finally got around to watching the video due to slow internet connections.

I think it's pretty sweet, how they parachute in from outta the skies in real time.

You know what I'm going to do right, get a gas cannister and Dual-hook it to a paratrooper when in range and BOOM! :lol:

wouldn't it be awesome if you could shoot enough holes in the paratroopers 'chute it would crumple/fold and they fall to thier death! (depending how high they are)
