So i had 25$ to spend so i was on gamestop.com looking to buy a game and i saw Deus Ex now i accidently bought DX 2 a few years back and i played it later and it was the best game ever so looking on gamestop.com i saw DX and a was all like: :lmao: yeah like that i was so happy and so i tried to download the trial and I got to the installation prosess i clicked next and geuss what popped up? Os not supported and i was all like: :mad2: beacuse i was on gamestop.com for an hour! and there was nothing else to buy! So i was really mad

So all i have is windows vista and in a day or too im getting my broke laptop back and thats windows 7 OH YES and my dads old laptop is windows ME but its so crappy it freeses everytime i try to take memory off it and i shure as heck cant go on the internet:hmm:

Okay, well, go into the CD directory, right click on setup.exe, select compatibility mode, and use Windows 98/ME.

That should work.

Yeah I have solved the problem by getting it on a different comp but still anytime i do that the computer freezes up so yeah I have tried that before.

I am feeling sorry for him. Anyway I am happy to see that the problem has been solved at least temporarily. I think the permanent solution for this issue will be to buy a new laptop and get the game installed in it. I don’t think that he has done the right thing by installing the game in his dad’s laptop. It will make the laptop freeze more often.
