I'm a HUGE fan of the DX-series. I absolutely LOVED DX1, and even liked DX-IW (not as much as DX1, of course.)

I accidentally discovered this DX3 site while searching for some old info on DX1 (to answer a question that a friend posed.)

So I just have to ask -- is this real?! Is there REALLY going to be a DX3? Or is it vaporware like Duke Nukem Forever -- always "to be released soon" but never actually released?

Just want to verify that I'm not dreaming here -- that DX3 is going to be a reality.

This was a little how I felt when I saw the announcement of DX3- not to get my hopes up, and that it was too optimistic to be serious. I had got it into my head that DX was essentially a dead and lamentably unexplored world, and that it would always stay that way. I've sure got my hopes up now, despite some disappointments.

It's true. The series is being resurrected. Whether or not 3 is another monumental achievement in gaming, only time will tell.
