Another Bhogavati pole problem?

On Ps3
I'm stuck in Bhogavati. I picked up the pole that should be placed in the hole. The problem is that when I accidently pressed the square button close to the ring I dropped the pole close to it so know when I tried to pick it up again I can't. All I get is the square hint on the screen. What can I do? It's strange that you can't restart a level.

I tried searching for the problem here but couldn't find it.

That's a big problem...

Too bad the level designers didn't make two paths to this rope as well (the other one can be accessed in two ways). :hmm:

Try to grab the pole by standing in different directions, especially try it with your back towards the grapple ring. Maybe you could try to turn off the help icons? :o

If nothing works you will need to reload a savegame (or restart the whole game).

Big thank you for helping me :)

I actually tried disable help icons before but with no result. I walked over and around that pole for about 15-20 minutes with no result.
To bad I didn't do any save games myself before.
O well, it's a great game so why not restart from the beginning :)
