Alot of my childhood dreams have come true with this game and Ghostbusters. A TMNT is all I need.
I wondered why they hadnt gone to 4 player over the head free roam ala GTA. You could even have people be villians as well.

Awesome, but Bruce Lee would be even better. The Freeflow system would be perfect for a game about him.

The old Ninja Turtles cartoon started off with them kicking major butt in that ascent of that building, where they first run into the Foot Clan, and up to the point in the series where they first meet and fight Rocksteady and Beebop, it was pretty cool action. Then, they toned it down and removed even before that the line demarcating the beaks of the Turtles and made them look more cartoony. Shame, but I still loved the old series. I also loved the old NES games. The first one was crazy-hard, but very unique. The second was like a side scrolling episode. Very well done.
I haven't seen much of the newer episodes, nor played any of the games made since then, but sure, a game with them in it using this engine would be great. I think, though, it would have to involve all four turtles as a team fighting the baddies, so the engine would have to be modified and opened up in the POV and camera systems. Close quarter stuff and Predator stuff probably wouldn't fit either.
Bruce Lee? His life? Maybe a character he played, like in Enter the Dragon, but no, I'm not for a game about his life in this vein...

It's a good idea, and I think it would work well. Too bad I'm not a Turtles fan like I was as a kid.

I'd like a Rambo game based on the mechanics of Arkham. Anyone who's seen First Blood will probably get where I'm coming from.

Bruce Lee? His life? Maybe a character he played, like in Enter the Dragon, but no, I'm not for a game about his life in this vein...They've done several Bruce Lee games over the years but I don't think any of them were literally about his life's story (except for the one based on the Dragon movie, which was exaggerated to the point of being more of a fable than a biography). I've played a couple of them and couldn't really tell you what the story was for any of them. Just typical video game plots, like Bruce fights criminals, ninjas, etc. Really, Bruce Lee fighting anybody can be pretty interesting.
Especially when he kills Chuck Norris.

... or kicks the crap out of Robin like he does a little after 8:30 in this clip.

...or if we want to use a meme that's been run into the ground, Rick Astley or Technoviking would be good choices too. :p

I think a TMNT game would be great, although make it completely fresh - Not linked to that sucky new cartoon, those sucky new movies and not even the good ol' cartoons and films.
Just make it from scratch and make it a bit more serious and less cartoony.
Personally I think a better Engine/System for it to run on would be Assassins Creed - So you could utilize the free running and acrobatics as the turtles would be able to.

You don't need to make a completely new take on the turtles,go back to basics. The original turtle comics back in the 80's were in black & white, and they were violent and gritty.I say, make a black & white cell-shaded Turtles game with an entirely new engine, taking some of the best things about other company's engines. Also, make it an open world, free roaming game where you straight up fight ninjas on rooftops and fire escapes.

Heh i remember when i was 14 and i went to the library, saw B&W Turtles comic and thought "lol no colors? Lame!" but then my cousin insisted i read it and so i did. I really loved it hehe. :D
Turtles Forever movie was a freaking nostalgia bomb. Manly tears!

Good idea. I would love a good TMNT game. As said above, I agree it should be based on the original comics in terms of both art style and story. Stealth would be good in the game also since they are also ninjas and it should have four player co-op. It would be fun to climb buildings and run on the roof tops fighting crime.
