Help in Bhogavati (PS3)

I'm stuck on which seems to be an easy case of just swinging across a pit, but I've tried, tried and tried and I can not get across. I've collected the len's and made my way through where the iron gate was and followed the pathway to a pit, I can grapple the ring and swing but I always miss landing on the otherside. I've tried shortening and lengthening the rope whilst swinging but still no joy. Please somebody help me!!!!!!!!!

Assuming it is the next gen version, make sure Lara is straight and not bumping against the wall as she swings. There is nothing special about the jump, it is just a jump, grapple, swing, jump, she should land it easily. And you need 2 crystals, did you get both?
