Iīve looked up this maybe 1 year ago.

San Esperito = Esperito Santo, this is a island at the east cap of south america!

Panao = Panay, a island in south east asia!

Donīt know if this is true, but these are true islands and i found them in my world map ^^

San Esperito was a tropical island with obvious Mexican inspired culture and architecture, just a little odd.
