View Full Version : Who thinks Rocksteady should make a Cartoon series?

After falling in love with the Cutscens from B:AA i think it would be a great idea to make a series of Batman Arkham Asylum episodes 15-25 mins long. They wouldnt be limited just to Arkham Asylum but its based on the universe from the game, some of those cameos could be seen in thier new design scheme. I would love to see some of the Tape Interviews play out in a episode or see what happened in the news papers that are scattered around! Maybe a 30min documentary about the Spirit of Akham.

They could release 1 or 2 every month or so up to the release of a sequel (which in my mind is set in stone) and that would up the hype and popularity, plus they could make money if they sell them on PSN or XBLM. What do you guys think?

This is a awsome idea man! They could even use it to tell what happens between the first and second, then when the game comes out we pick up where the episode before the games release left off.
But I would love if they did that, and would pay good money to watch them.

Exactly! And like if you buy the Collecters edition of the next game you can get a DVD of all the eipsodes plus new ones!

While it might indeed be awesome, I think what we should really be wanting from Eidos about now is for them to begin thoughts/ planning and work on a follow-up.

I would like it somthing similar to the AC2 live action things, only like cutscenes that would build up to the sequel!

Lol i wouldnt call it a Cult, but i agree cartoons these days are waaaaaaaaaaaaay to censored! This style would be perfect!

;) well I would say BTAS is up there with a few crazy fans, anyway would love to see a darker cartoon again, dont get me wrong I am coming round to brave and the bold (especially after the music meister and robin episode) But some of the work on batman gotham knights would be cool to watch on a weekly basis, so long as they take some of the gore out (guy getting surgery awake eeewwww)

Anyway i think its a top notch idea maybe even the Road to Arkham comic book could become the first episode who knows then maybe they could build from that.

I still havnt been able to read the comic book. Maybe a the first season would be stuff from the game with a Road to arkham prologe and a twoface epiloge (and im to lazy to correct bad speeling)

It was messy!!! (undead corpse in Green Lantern?)

I havent seen green lantern, wonderwoman or batman and superman public enemy... just havent got round to it yet, seen doomsday though that was good and of course gotham knight.

I would love love LOVE then to do one with the who bat family though (sure I have posted that somewhere before ) oh and maybe a teen titan/ outsiders one because they were going to do the judas contract but what happened there?

Making some short animated episodes is an excellent idea. It would actually be somewhat groundbreaking for a video game I think (unless some game has done it before). Good suggestion.

BTW, If you wanna see the animated version of the Joker tapes, watch the BTAS episode "Mad Love". (in case you haven't anyway)

Wasnt a few final fantasy anime films made, and a Devil may cry? Sure there a more too, will have to have a look on wiki :)

Yes Final Fantasy was made into a few films! I think Batman is big enough to do so also! I mean Just make some good quility DLC charge $10 and with about 2 million people buying it you'd have enough to make several good films!

well i hopefully will someday produce my own bat-animated series so then you can all watch.it'll be dark and brilliant,ill just have to find out what to go to school for lol. directing?animation?screenwriting?if you know tell me.


anyways.......yeah someone needs to make something better.i hate brave and the bold.and i didnt like the batman too much.i wish adult swim would show tas reruns.idk i see them realizing that most of the tas fans are older now and would be willing to show it.it'd get alot of viewes.

Why bother making adult swim Batman TAS when Hamill retired from Joker role? Not to mention Dini, Andrea and Bruce Timm moved on along with Conroy only returning as Batman for the animated flicks he's asked in.

Dini isnt really needed. Dini didnt wright that much or very well and Hamills voice i terrible now. Id prefer a re-cast. Bring a new flavour to the character. Romano is still involved in batman. Shed return aswell as Conroy, he never lets the fans down.

Disney XD and Boomerang are already showing reruns. Not to mention the whole serie is for dvd. >_>
