Ive just gained my last trophy for TRU.. Im at 98% and have all the trophys except for the treasure collector (collect 10 treasures) trophy "It didnt unlock".. How come I have all the other treasure trophys but for some reason this one didnt unlock.. If I start a new game, and collect just 10 treasures will I get that trophy along with my platinum?

in theory it shoudl unlock and you should get your final trophey

Failing that, I suppose you could continue through the game and then start a new game just for the purpose of collecting the 10 treasures, like you said. Sometimes games have been known to not recognise you achieving the critera for the said trophy, Uncharted was one of them (though I believe Naughty Dog fixed it fairly fast:scratch:)

Anyway, I'm sure if you don't get it once you get the final trophy, you'll get it by starting a new game. Perhaps even deleting the game/update data before you start the new game (not the save data). Just install the patch again. I think you can do that.

Why delete the patch, the problem is likely caused by not starting a new game after the patch was downloaded, nothing collected before the patch was downloaded would be counted. Deleting the patch and downloading it again will change nothing, the first 10 treasures have to be collected again in order to get the trophy.

True, but if they have the other treasure trophies then wouldn't it have given out the '10 treasures' one if they picked up say 20 treasures?

Dunno if that made sense but I'm sure just a new game would work(like you said), but if it didn't there wouldn't be much harm in deleting the patch data would there? :scratch:

It unfortunately doesn't work like that. I bought this game when it first came out (no trophies) and I found over 130 of the treasures, and when I downloaded the patch, it didn't give me credit for any of the progress I had (including beating the story mode)...guess you'll have to start a new game to get your platinum.
