Game randomly crashes to desktop

Hey, anyone else experiencing problems while playing the game it just crashes to desktop out of the blue? I'm running the game on windows 7. Sound + Video card drivers are up to date. Running the game in compatibility mode for windows xp makes the crashes less frequent but otherwise it crashes a lot more.

Anyway to solve this problem?

I have the same thing, game crashes to desktop. Win 7 all drivers and dx are up to date. plz help.

no0one, i tried the fix in this thread about the .dll file. It seems to have worked for me, no more crashes so far. Here's the link. http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=95597

The OpenAl fix doesn't work for me. Still randomly crashing at the first level.

if you cant get in game

open up the task manager
and look for the Just Cause 2 process and end it.

steam will only allow 1 game process to ruin at a time, ending it will allow you to replay.

Same problem, both methods do not work for me.. I don't see a Just cause 2 in processes, and I've tried adding the .dll doesn't work
