Fav part of the Thief games

First post so be gentle to an auld , bald, fat 53 year old virgin :)

In the Thief games there are a few sounds that actually give me the shivers. The main one being the "Eye" in "Thief".
"Comes a man to rescue me",
A bit like "Drums in the deep " on the LOTR audiobook when silence is followed shortly by a faint but ever increasing drum beat from the well .

The "Eye" gives me the shivers every time I hear it.

The second ingame sound is the heavy loud running feet sound of some characters in the later parts of the game, the running statues/ pointed eared daemons :)

If the Scotts get a penalty tonight for diving . . .

For me its the voice of the original hammer haunts. The laughing once they have seen you is bad enough - but its the piercing 'join us, join us now' that really gets me.

Also, the sound of a Child of Karrass once it has seen you 'wretched creature' and the sound of the cannon arming (this sound was in the intro video to soulforge aswell vs Viktoria, and the faces of the children here were terrifying'.

Or playing Life of the Party around 1am and turning around to see one of the masked child servants pointing at you and making a noise then running off to alert the Mechanists, that always freaked me out.

My favourite part however was playing Masks and Life of the Party for the first time. It's like a nostalgic point in all my years of gaming. The level design, the atmosphere, pretty much everything about it.

Oh, and parts involving the Undead (TDS exlcuded) were pretty cool.
