who thinks a jedi knight game would be good with this engine?
the light saber combat would be awesome with all those counter move animations involved.
fighting a guy in front of you when one comes behind you to swing at you with his light saber? press counter and you block behind you and either kick him away or slash him.
and dont mention the slow motion on the finishing moves even better.
to me a jedi knight game with this combat system would play exactly like how that trailer for star wars the old republic looks, cool fighting animations with slow-mo every now and then.
jedi knight series of games rocked and its too bad they dont do another one for both console and pcs.

hmm, the age rating might be high, considering if your cutting up humans with a lightsaber while seeing their insides...
but theres also the fact that droids dont have gore =P

I don't think there would be any interior details, since a lightsaber wound is sealed immediately. And dismemberment was in the other games, which were T.

The only problem with a Jedi Knight game with freeflow-esque combat, is that Jedi are not Martial Arts masters. The Force Unleashed did a nice job mixing the powers of Jedi against insurmountable odds. The other problem is that 9 times out of 10 Jedi fight troopers with guns and not those with hand to hand combat. I mean cmon, who would be dumb enough to try and fist-fight a Jedi with a lightsaber?

Clearly it would have to be altered, for both gunplay and one-on-one combat. But I think the framework is there and it could be awesome.

Anyone ever play the Old Jedi Knight Games? How bout Jedi Power Battles? Episode III revenge of the Sith? Play those games see the combat, compare it to the Force Unleashed, and the think how mixing all of them into one and adding a counter button! 8/10 idea!
Then again the wii or most likely the PS3 and there new controller will allow us gamers to be the Ultimate Jedi, sadly i dont think Natal will work outside of sports games

I don't think motion controls could work for a lightsaber game though, particularly in duels, because when the blade in the game stops the toy you're holding won't.
