Trenches Part 1 HELP

i would really appreciate some help here. Can someone please tell me how to stop that stupid machine gun from firing i mean its impossible to hit it seriously. Ive tried everything shooting the gas canister with lasersight and nothing seemes to be working can someone please help me... Il send a savegame file . Thx Ive been in this level 4ever

Hi! Usually, you cannot destroy a machine gun until you manage to get behind it. Send me a savegame file, I'll try to help you. Tell me if you are using the patch or not, otherwise the savegame could be incompatible. :)

You need to shoot the red triangle on the cannister with the revolver and laser sight. You can only do this if the machine gun is turned away from Lara.
