AC Vents in PC Demo

I've come across at least 2 grates in the PC demo that appear to be interactive, but that I can't find any way to reach in order to open. Is this just to demonstrate that, in the full game, there are places you can't get to until you get certain gadgets, or is there a way to go through them in the demo?

yes, the gadget you use is called the "batclaw" it latches on do different things and batmank can yank it like a rope

There's a key mapped to it, but it doesn't do anything.

The Batclaw isn't in the demo so there are a few Riddles you can't get.
Wait until the full game and you will see the starting level is quite different anyway.
