yeah thats not the right date. gamestop.com has 3/1/10 and they dont post a release date till some one from the company give them a date. doesnt mean it can't change or that its the exact date but as of right now i would say thats the closest.

Its a long wait but it will be worth every minute. They really want to produce a high quality game this time around thoroughly tested.

By what I have seen, it looks like the game is close to Beta state, so they will have plenty of time for polishing and fine tuning the game.

The result will be a close to perfect product with a massive amount of content, beautiful visuals, impressive physics, and highly polished gameplay. Its a fair tradeoff.
