Cheats?

I don't get why hardly any games use cheats now days .
I'd like to see things like infinate ammo, money, health, maby some veichle cheats, stuff like that.
what do you guys think?

Maybe infinite ammo and/or money, and only as some kind of unlockable. I hate things as invincibility, they take the fun away.

I'd like to have a range of vehicle spawn cheats (SPAWN OCTAVIO!!!) and weapon cheats... infinite ammo, money, health, remove/add heat to your notoriety meter... maybe make them unlockable as you do certain tasks in the game as not to make them easy to access.

Would be nice though, playing Just Cause 1 on PC with a trainer was pretty fun, so cheats could work. Though as usual make it so they remove the ability to gain achievements etc

YES.

I loved the cheats in san andreas. my favorite was the pedestrans riot cheat. but a jetpack cheat would be kinda pointless with the parachute and all.

Ya I know but I was just giving an example of a creative cheat. Saints row 2 had some pretty creative cheats too.

Do you guys think that this game is suited to GTA style cheats? Just Cause has never been a GTA clone, I'm not sure that GTA style cheats would work for this games style. Simple vehicle spawns would be cool though.

And I'd love some hidden islands, like those in Saints Row 2 (which led to the amazing Easter Bunny easter egg).

I like spawning vehicles, but that would take away the black market. I guess that the better a game is the lesser cheats it needs. I love GTA but I use a whole lot of cheats because it's so hard and because I hate things getting out of ammo! (Yeah, I recognize it's too hard for me ,lol).

this games amzing enough without cheats -
1 you dont need vehicles - parachute
2 you dont need ammo - grapple
3 the games fun and crazy enough
4 vehicle heavy drops
5 chaos is money so you cant really get unlimited, because then you dont need to do the missions, because you do small missions to get chaos to unlock the main missions
6 cheats are old
7 theyre for boring games
8 gta and saints row arent boring,but compared to this they are

I think a cool cheat would be like the one from the orignal Saints Row,
Where all the cars tried to run you over and the only way to stop them was to eather blow the car up or kill the driver :)

maybe an unlock all upgrades code? but i would prefer if there wasnt any. but i wouldnt mind if you only got them after unlocking all the upgrades anyway (say you unlock all the upgrades but you want to start a new game, instead of it deleting all your upgrades it will give you the code for when you start a new game.)

i would like cheats like the ones on GTA vice city were you can change the custome. Also the cheats in saints row 2 were so fun, id like ones like that!

True, that is boring and too easy when doing missions because there's no challenge or skill involved but after you've completed the game, free roaming in JC2 with base jumping infinite health would be fun because you could just free-fall and not open your parachute to watch Rico face-plant from 1.5 kilometres :lol:

Infinite health is fun! I love REALLY slowly walking into a base while everyone fires at you then suddenly taking everyone out in a few seconds! XD

Id like a hyper power cheat where if you shoot someone in the air you can launch them miles! XD

Oh and PLEASE can we have a lightning cheat! I love bad weather! XD

:thumb: i agree it can be boring but like you said basejumping without the parachute is fun


EDIT: also i hope you unlock cheats for completing the game, For example in COD 4 when you get cool things for completing and collecting intel. maybe in JC2 you can unlock things like a scuba diving suite

Killer cars from saints row 2? That was insane. Turn on that, wrath of god, immortality and low gravity and you can play end of the world! XD Its great fun especially while listening to 80's pop music! XD

Infinite health is boring when you have the useful regeneration system. Infinite ammo and money is what rocks

I'm not even going to bother requesting any cheats cause i know that when the game launches there'll be no cheats, unless they're added later-on as DLC, which i can't get cause my internetspeed is not fast enough to get onto xbox live and download cheatcodes.

i think cheats would be awesome..... they could be insane cheats like some grand theft auto games or subdued cheats like Uncharted 2: infinate ammo, no gravity (awesome), and you can pick any weapon you want (infinate ammo with no gravity and an RPG is amazing btw)
