My fiancee is dying to play this game with me but she wants to have her "own" game. Will there be multiple save slots?

Relevant to the topic, I want to ask: How acute is the saving? for instance in Infamous you can save the game anywhere and it will get back on exactly where you left off. Or will the saving area be more broaden and save the game to a certain building.

From the live gameplay that I've seen (as well as various other videos), Batman: Arkham Asylum allows you to save your progress at any location. You simply pause the game by entering the main menu, and there should be a "Save Game" option to scroll down to. It's not like Dead Space, in which you need to access certain pods within the ship in order to save.

I recommend that you (Headset) get your fiancé to create her own account for playing the game. That way if there is an auto-save feature, your experience isn't ruined by an accidental overwrite; plus I think it makes for a more personal experience when you each have your own profile with separate accomplishments.
