Hi.

i understand that the island in AA will get unlocked as u progress and basically will be gradually opened for u to explore.

my questions are -
will there be a use for it?
can u avoid areas with certain enemies by flanking them via another room? can u find rooms with one direction to frontal for u so u can approach that room from somewhere else for a more stealthy approach if u want?

another question -

if u can roam the environmet and will do so wouldnt the island become empty and boring once u start clearing it out? after u go through a few rooms that all the thugs will be dead there and it seems like the asylum will be desolated so where is the fun in these areas that will be empty?
it would make more sense if unconscious enemies will gain consciousness after a while so the asylum is always packed with danger and challenge...

what do u know about this?

well i guess if your worrying about haveing no one to fight after you beat the game dont worry, because there are the challenge rooms. i for one would like to finish solving the riddlers riddles in piece and quite.

That is seriously the best idea ive heard on these forums. Id love to go bad and beat up some more baddies in arkham....Maybe they could all regain consiousness after the story is done?

PLEASE PUT THAT IN EDIOS/ROCKSTEADY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

u do love large red letters, dont u, mate? :)

the thing about batman is that he doesnt kill the thugs but knocks them unconscious. unconsciousness (damn i hate writing that word) is something u regain when brain gets back to functional state. these goons that batman slaps around shouldnt be dead thus it makes sense that after a while they might get up.

it brings up problems as to will they take back their weapons? if they dont than why? batman didnt take them. if they do than it doesnt make sense that batman will leave their weapons on the ground for them to take...and if they regain consciousness but just become unarmed thugs than that's the best solution but might neglect stealth for farther play since the 5 thugs with rifles were dangerous when armed and they are nothing special or interesting when unarmed.
also if they regain consciousness than the game needs to keep them in the rooms as lying thugs and this will require a lot of memory ability form the console. probably not possible... :\ the alternative is to bring them back into consciousness after a very short while, which will be annoying like it is in FC2.

this idea is probably not soemthing likely to happen or it would have been thought through more.

however un-interesting thugs are better than lying dead thugs.

Sorry i do have a tendancy to use large red letters lol

Yeah its a cool iea you came up with but i doubt it could happen. You could always just have all the goons respawn once the story has ben completed....but i doubt that'll happen either....

I think it would be cool if the remaining cops jailed the thugs, and there would be jail breaks you had to deal with. The thugs would have their own missions like free more thugs, and they would hold cops hostage to lure you into traps and things.

I think it would also be cool to have coop challenge maps. I definitely don't want coop on story mode but since challenge maps have nothing to do with the actual story mode, I think it would be cool to have special 2p challenge maps that let you select from various Batman Heroes and villains like Batman (of course) Batwoman, Nightwing, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, etc.

if it's kinda open there needs to be something to do when u get back to certain areas. also a more dynamic AI that actually travel from one place to another (not between loading parts but inside structures. and different rooms). from the demo i get the impression that enemies are a part of the challenge of the room. u cant leave the room until u get them all or something. maybe it was just the demo but i really hope that AIs can move from one room to another. it seems like the structure of the game is not made for that...

if anyone gets what i mean....

Anyone who has ever played Metroid knows the answer to this.

I very much like the idea of a free-roam Arkham. I'm guessing that you'll be able still explore and solve the riddles after you've beaten the main campaign. IMO, it's one of the smartest things about the game.

i never played metroid prime. enlighten me, please. :)

p.s. - i'd love me some action. im not even sure what the ridller riddles are but i know they are not action :) and im not into picking up trophies either :) i think the riddler should clean up his own mess.
