Error installing the Demo

Well the title says it all. When I install the game I get an error. I tried reinstalling and re-downloading the file but it's the same again.

The installation ends with these 2 lines:

CRC failed in BmGame.u
Unexpected end of archive

Can someone help me out?

Sounds like wherever you downloading from is either corrupted at source or your download is failing about the same point. Where did you download it?

I downloaded it from the official website: www.batmanarkhamasylum.com. The error occurs during the extraction process. I guess I'm the only one then? :scratch:

Theres been many thousands of successful downloads from our site, so its possibly something happening to the file when you download it.. Have you tried another source? check the thread at the top of the forums linking to the nzone page

I did that too. I'll try again and watch the download this time. Then I'll post a new reply if it works or if not.

I have downloaded and tried to extract again. Still the same problem. Is there any way that anyone can send me the extracted filed that woks Just send it to me a RAR or folder og somthing. No .exe file.

Its a 2GB download.. not really something can easily be sent.. Are you using a download manager to ensure the data is not corrupted by your phone line etc?

Has the previous download be deleted and not just overwritten?

no download manager. I the phoneline-thing isn't a problem either (as far as I know) Has the files not been uploaded as anything other than a .exe file anywhere?

Do you have steam? if so it will be on there shortly and their systems dont use the install as they host the files `installed` as such

I do have steam. When you say shortly- do you mean a few hours or a couple of days? :P

I've downloaded the STEAM version of the demo. Only now it's not the instaling process that fails, now It's the launching. I get this error:
