Technical Problem With The Demo (PS3)

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but there are two faint black lines that are seen horizontal across the screen when you play the demo. Now, I know right away some people are going to ask me to check my TV, but I do not see this on any other demo/game/or movie. So it is not my television or my PS3.

Look at the main screen when you first load up the demo (before you press Start) and you can see one black line under the title and above the title of the game. It is faint, but it is there. This is where you can see it the best, but like I said, it appears throughout the entire demo (movies/gameplay).

Anyway, just a heads up to the developers, because I don't want black lines on my retail copy. :)

I cannot say if this affects the 360/PC versions. I only played it on PS3. My TV is 1080p LCD, connected through HDMI 1.3.

It is possible it only affects certain televisions and connections. What kind of TV and connection are you using?

Phillips TV and using HDMI cable and I don't see anything. What brand TV and model TV do you have?

It is a Samsung LCD. 1080p. HDMI 1.3a. LN40A530 model.

Have you adjusted the brightness on your TV? I have read of some having some issues with the black balance.

My brightness is set at 50 on my LCD. Its been properly configured (I am a big audio/videophile) Within the PS3, I have Super White On and RGB is set to Full. My TV does support these options.

Ive got good news and bad news good news I got the same set and samsung is awesome...bad news is your tv screen may be dying.....:wave:

I'm having a technical problem myself. I'm noticing some diagonal lines in the lower right quadrants of the detective mode text boxes (both of them) It could be intentional, but it looks more like an error or mistake.

Sony KDL-40V5100 tv, with 120hz, through hdmi 1.3, 60gb unmodified sony ps3.

I just watched the first few seconds of one of the gametrailers.com gameplay trailers (the Harley Quinn challenge room one) and immediatly when detective mode boot up saw the "issue" i had in the video. So that just tells me that this is not an issue and is intentional, which was what the most probably solution was.

I happily relinquish my issue.

I am having a different problem. The pre-rendered cutscenes are stuttering in regular intervals... as can also be seen here where someone captured the demo...

I find it very annoying but noone else seems to even notice...
