takedowns (warning: minor gameplay spoilers)

I’ve been thinking about the takedowns recently, and I seem to recall that in one of the E3 video demos it was said that there are 20 in the game. Having seen all the videos umpteen times I have made a list of the takedowns that I’ve seen in the vid’s, which are (these might be considered minor spoilers by some so I’ve blocked them out):

1. Silent takedown, sneaking behind a guy and choking him out
2. Ground takedown, smashing a downed guy’s head off the floor to knock him out
3. Inverted takedown, grabing a guy and tying him up from a gargoyle
4. Piñata takedown, cutting the rope so the hanging guy crashes onto a guy below
5. Railing takedown, whilst hanging from a railing you smash the guys head of the railing and toss him over the edge leaving him dangling from a rope
6. Batarang takedown, self explanatory
7. Glide kick takedown, ditto
8. Explosive gel on wall, take out guy(s) by blowing out a nearby weak wall
9. Explosive gel on ceiling, take out guy(s) by blowing out a nearby weak ceiling (haven’t seen this but read about it)
10. Explosive gel on floor, take out guy(s) by blowing out a nearby weak floor (haven’t seen this but it looks possible from one of the vid’s, Italian one with the “tearing” I think?)
11. Line launcher takedown, kicking a guy while landing from the line launcher (again I can’t recall seeing this, but I think I read about it)
12. Batclaw takedown, pull a guy over a railing with the batclaw and leave him dangling
13. Glass ceiling takedown, smash through a glass ceiling and land on the unsuspecting guy below

Assuming that double and triple batarang takedowns don’t count as two more, I can come up with 13, so 7 remaining...
So it looks like there could be a few surprises up Rocksteady’s sleeve yet, does anyone know of any additional confirmed takedowns (a reference to a video would be nice!), or would anyone like to hazard a guess as to what they might be?

p.s. it might be a good idea to use the blue spoiler thingy so as not to spoil it for people who are more patient than me!!

Wow that's a good list. Can't believe you actually where able to look out for all of those.

Though can't he do a takedown from underneath them. When he's in the grates or something?

I heard some rumours about that but I haven't seen it in a vid, guess we will find it out on Friday :)

Five of them arent really takedowns,Those with the explosiv gel the one with the batclaw and the one with the rope cutting they arent takedowns right?

so may i ask what do you mean by takedown

so i think the Glide kick is not a takedown as you see in one of the first video
he uses the Glide kick then has to perform a ground takedown to finish him off
so a Glide kick is not a takedown

but i think when sefton talked about having 20 takedowns he probably included that as one of them.

yeah the definition of a takedown is taking something down. and when you glide kick you take down the person. so i would classify that as a takedown
