if i had to choose i'd say stealth based, simply because i played the melee combat demo at walmart so i already kinda know what thats like (though the demo there is clearly an older build without the ground takedowns, some moves & HUD elements are different) i think the perfect demo would just be 1 combat challenge room & one stealth challenge room, that way no story is spoiled & that just seems like the easiest set up for them to make the demo quickly (although i'm sure by now their work on the demos are done & they're probably going through certification by now)

I dont know, I guess it depends on How big the SP one is, and what it has as far as bat gadgets go.... If its bigger then the one they showed at E3 then yeah, if not, then ir really dont matter as I played the combat one at target and its ok, but reminds me of assassins creed gameplay.

IMO, Arkham Asylum's combat is much more fast-paced than Assassin's Creed.

I disagree, man.

I tried button mashing in the demo, and I failed miserably, since I broke my chain of combos...and, once the enemies have guns, you need to prioritize who to attack first. Also be mindful of the fact that, yeah, it was only a small demo. In the later stages of the game, you can actually use any gadget you want in combat (like the Bathook) and unlock more moves.

I voted for the Silent Knight Challenge Room as well because I love the idea of being able to recreate those scenes from the Nolanverse movies. Where the thugs disappear in a blur of black. It's awesome. I would be definitely be able to entertain myself for a long time with just 1 silent knight challenge room.

its not about the game content, its the lack of a taste test.

Most games don't have advertising, here in the US as well (we know what shopping centres are too BTW, HaHa ... ) Game stores are useless as the employees rarely know more than the average person. You would think that they are people that look online for news often like a lot of us here. I don't even remember the ad on The Dark Knight but I have the Blu-Ray version so it may not contain it.

The only way I heard about this game is online. That is the best option for anyone seeking information on any game honestly.

our game stores do things differently here though, the only way to get a job there to my knowledge is an extensive knowledge of video games, that of released ones and ones that are on its way. Game stores here pride themselves on customer service, its where the stereotypical nerds and geeks get jobs.

I get what you're saying but we also have a tv show devoted to gaming, and it wasn't in the "To Get List" more like the Rental list.

I'm having doubts and need something to reignite it, its like being without a ciggerette things small and insignificant really get to you.......like the trailers and getting irritated that I'm getting paranoid that the combat looks repetitive....

The PS3 firmware update 2.80 freed some RAM for devs to take advantage of.

It's possible that they decided to make a few enhancements/adjustments to the game(and demo) which would explain any kind of delay.

I'd be extremely happy if it was that, as it would definitely keep me going until release. Although I wouldn't go near the first 15 minutes of the story; I'd save that for the proper game :D

They are nearly ready to announce a demo date, so the time it takes is irrelevant. Few of us need a demo to nudge us into buying it. I also don't see it as wanting a demo "to play it early" as much as wanting it as a teaser of what we will enjoy when the full game is finally released.

I'm 100% buying this game, played the GS demo and 100% look forward tow playing the new demo a ton of times leading up to the 25th.
