Honestly I don't see how anyone plays this game on a console. The aiming is so terrible on the console, you really need a mouse and keyboard to hope to hit anything (at least for me)

and I'm currently running Kane & Lynch on a AMD64 1.8 ghz laptop, 2 gigs of memory, and a GeForce 7900 GS - I can run Kane & Lynch at 1920x1200 with low settings, or at 1024x768 with normal settings.

Either way, I hope to have a new notebook in time for Kane & Lynch 2 so I can actually turn on all those fun shadows and anistropic filtering stuff.

Not like if the fact that i can play it better than most of my other games is going to change anything ...

If you can kick ass with a controller then that's awesome dude. I'm just saying I can't hit **** when I played it on the 360. I basically just spray and pray for everything, and all your enemies have PERFECT aim too. It's nuts.

props for being able to use a controller though. :thumb:

But seriously though , Dead Men is The only game i have the less problem playing with ...

I don't want to brag myself but ( nah actually i want to ) ...

It's the only game in which i find the Hard mode to be actually 'playable' ...
It's the only game in which i only play on Hard mode (yep , since day one)...
And ...
I've done co-op on hard mode all by myself (yes i do Have friends who are gamers ,but no i wanted to play it by myself)...

Oh sure ,i do die quite a few times ,but never have i blamed the game ...
It's a shame there wasn't a Trophy patch on the PS3 though ,could have earned them all (the non-online ones anywya)...

My point is that Dead Men is just such a playable and fun game to me , the problem is that i'm going to be pretty much the only person who can say this , so , all i can do is just watch the tons of topics criticising the controls , it's not like if by bragging my 'superiority skill' at this game it would change people's view , i think ...

I think there are some things you just can't do with a controller... like switch to your HK USP in 3 seconds and double-tap an enemy before he gets a shot off. That kinda precision only comes with a mouse, I think.

Well, IOI were going to include Cross platform play with 'Dead men' Even some Game box's mention that it has Cross platform play when it doesn't, i guess they scrapped the idea at the last minute, so i hope they include it in dog days it would unite PC and 360 owners, They can do it for Shadowrun, and lost planet colonies, then thay can probably do it for Dog days, ofcourse this doesnt do much for ps3 owners, but you can always buy a 360 or play it on you PC:rasp:

Kids usually get pwned the first match they play on live and go back to halo, never met anyone under 16 who plays Kane and Lynch regularly online,

It's been a while since I was on the servers, no doubt things have changed. However I think it's safe to say most of the "kids" have moved on to other games.

Believe it or not i'm actually really considering buying a xbox 360 just for That One Game (it's not even a new game , it's Two DLCs ... Two Top Quality DLCs) ...

But you expect me to pay to play online ? lol ...

As for my PC *looks out of the window* , yeah i think that's a no-no ...

all three versions.
my first 21334745 playthroughs was on PC
then i finished it for a few times at Xbox360
and lastly i got it for ps3 but didnt played it much

wouldn't have thought there'd be this many pc guys. If they'll do a better job of porting it I'll get k&l2 on the pc aswell otherwise I'll get the ps3 version this time.

I'm planning to buy a PS3 this christmas so I'll most likely pick up the game there... but I primarily plan on playing on the PC. The mouse and keyboard is the only way to go.

Actually when I play offline I play it with a gamepad on pc ^^
It's not as precise as mouse and keyboard but I love analog sticks, and how you can turn around so fluidly and change your movement speed depending on how hard you push it. It kinda makes thegame feel even more cinematic

Agreed on the analogue sticks... They're fun but can get frustrating at times.. Very horrible with button mashers... It's not the First time I destroyed a controller coz of over-use hehe...

HAs anyone here tried playing Kane and Lynch with a WII mote? (Over PC via Bluetooth reciever) I'm considering it..

Sorry for being such a cheap douchebag and have to ask this question, but here it goes.

I was wondering if you could install the PC version of K&L on multiple PC's? 'Cause I got a group of friends that I play a lot of Lan PC games with, and I think some Fragile Alliance Lan action would be frickin' sweet.

You can. It's like replacing the mouse and assigning buttons or as an individual controller. There are always subtitutes, Plus i mentioned it in the Mini-ninjas forum - You can fool windows XP into owning an xbox360 controller

EDIT: Plus a wiimote is just like any other Blue-tooth device.. It may need Third party applications to work, but would work defenatly as a mouse-replacement

You can LAN Xbox's aswell i think

Each game will have a CD-key and no two CD-keys can be logged in at the same time on GFWL.

Hehe - Fair enough. I just found some really cheap copies of K&L on Amazon.

And playing ranked games isn't gonna be a problem since we'll be having the whole thing for ourselves. :P
