Although if they do actually include Two-Face in the game I hope his look is similar to his appearance in Battle for the Cowl or The Long Halloween. I can't stand it when half of his suit is an ugly plaid design. It looks better in solids. Sorry I know the whole Two-Face fashion thing was random.

Well most reviews got a taste of what the game has in store for us. And most of the stuff we have seen is in the first 2 hrs out of 9-12 so there may be a bunch of villians Bats may run into that dont really have a purpose in terms of the main story line.

The Controls are basically the same, the moves would be awesome. All you need to change is the character model and instead of the gadgets starting with 'Bat' that be 'Moth'.

Well unless I'm mistaken, awhile back there were small snippets of the so-called villain challenge map that was Gamestop exclusive that people speculated had you under the influence of Scarecrows fear toxin. Considering that it's coming close to the time when Gamestop will officially reveal the content of that challenge map, if it is indeed Scarecrow, the timing seems right. (Plus he's on the cover of that Arkham Asylum comic some will recieve with the game.)

This is all of course speculation and grasping on my part. Scarecrow's my favorite Bat-baddy and I really wanna see him in this game. But it kinda makes sense.

Personally I think it was a combination of 3 reasons.

A: They wanted to tweak it as much as possible before release.

B: Square-Enix just bought them out, what was it, like a week before the game was supposed to be released? I can't remember. Could have had something to do with it.

C: Longer ad campaign. Build hype for it more. I mean, back when this game was supposed to be released, I hadn't even really heard of it yet. Then suddenly I started seeing it everywhere.

Just more specualtion on my part, don't take my word for it. Opinions are like :whistle: holes.

As much as I know that this will be the best Batman experience yet, I also know that they shouldn't attempt to satisfy every fan by throwing in dozens of villains for the sake of it. Honestly, I only want them to add in villains that contribute to the story. We don't want a repeat of the Spiderman games, in which they attempted to insert in as many enemies as possible for no understandable reason.

Wow, some people are never satisfied. Here's a hint: if nobody told you there was going to be a new villian in the trailer, don't expect a new villian in the trailer. And I think anyone who followed Spider-Man: Web of Shadows knows how bad it can be when they tell you too many villains. Every single villain in that game was already know of before it came out. There was almost no surprises. I hope Batman: Arkham Asylum doesn't end up like that.

On another note, I loved the trailer, but what gets me the most excited is not what the trailer showed, but what the trailer didn't show. We all know these aren't the only villains in the game. Just thinking about what others are in it and seeing what twists and turns the story may take is what really has me looking forward to this game.

I conclude that she's at least not a boss at THAT point. The preview that talked about that merely mention "after knocking her out". If it was a proper boss battle I think they would have went into more detail. She may be a proper fight later.

Some people are just dissappointed because they were expecting one last hook, which they were expecting in the form of a villain reveal. They are only complaining because they feel a little let down. It's not that they were asking for the games whole roster or plot. They just wanted one last appetizer to tide them over before the main course.

Just saw it and I thought it was a great trailer. I've been intentionally not viewing every new video popping up, to not spoil my game, but I figure a trailer should be fine (though trailers can spoil things badly too, this one doesn't). Maybe it's been in other videos, but we get to see Crock speak a couple of lines (interesting that this is Clancy Brown – wasn't expecting that voice from him), get some fresh looks at the Arkham Asylum, get to see Batman pinned down by some thugs, tossed around by others, and Crock and he fight in a few snippets in the sewers. I loved the announcer, the news helicopter reporting the chaos from outside, and just everything about the production on this trailer was amazing:) Great job. I'm even more pumped for the game now, which is hard to do, lol

Anywho, Killer Croc doesn't really sound like Clancy Brown to me. Though that could be, because of the croc voice.

Based on the little story info we got, it is kinda likely that Scarecrow plays apart, i'll put them in a spoiler tag just incase:

1) Scarecrow is in the comic cover for the prequel comic, why ignore him in the game if he makes it to the cover?
2) Fear gas halluncinations will play apart of this game
3) Why bother make Scarecrow themed challange maps and ignore him from the main story?

So they did do some comics on the series? I've often wondered if it was just randomly made up for the sake of selling more toys/making profit. Bane looked really different in this line. He had long brown hair and his suit had been twitched abit.

If im correct Legends of the Batman was comic title for early Batman adventures, and Shadow of the Bat was for the current Batman stories that back in 90s were the "modern" stories. Im 100% certain of Shadow of the Bat but you better wikipedia the legends of the Batman.

Why are people complaining about the trailer, i think its the best trailer we've had. I know you were disappointed not to have a new villain revealed but im sure Eidos has more up its sleeve. I dont think they will reveal everyone anyway as they might want it to be a surprise for us when we play the game. This trailer is just epic.

I'll admit, I'm a little disappointed that we didn't see any Scarecrow footage. But think of it like this, if they don't show us anything on the guy, they must have something pretty special planned for his parts in the game.
Frankly, I'm excited as hell.

For months of nothing I was pretty dissapointed with the last trailer it is m.o. but still it was very lack luster for waiting with no real new information all of last month and most of this month....The game only has a few more weeks left.

These claims of "no information" for the past two months are not only incorrect, but frustratingly stupid. In the last month alone, we have received six new previews, one Developer Diary, numerous interviews with the art team (including a Wildstorm video promoting the game) a Paul Dini podcast, an upcoming Paul Crocker podcast, a Rocksteady Studio Tour, a ten minute demo of one of the game's later levels, the final date for our forthcoming community day, and now this. I'm sorry that they don't want to show you everything that's in the game, but this was a well-made trailer that revealed new footage, the voice of Killer Croc, etc. In no way was it lackluster, and they did not promise new villains. We should be thankful that Rocksteady even bothers at all, because many developers rarely update on their progress.

You're victims of your own hype and expectations.

Also: Last month, Rocksteady had a brilliant booth at E3, and we received dozens of new interviews online, including footage that showed most of the game's tutorial. We have had plenty of information in the past two months. I'm assuming that you simply don't bother to look.

Also, a new magazine came out this week (PS3Zine) with Arkham Asylum on its cover. Within the magazine, we received tons of new screenshots and gameplay information. Once more, I'm a tad bit shocked that some individuals are claiming that we don't receive any new information when a few checks around the Internet shows that their claims are breathtakingly incorrect.

I remember for TDK during the trailer they showed Gordon smashing the batsignal, so during the movie I knew he wasnt dead cause I hadnt seen that scene yet.

I forgot about how large his roguses gallery is, and like you say only a small handful of villains are being shown. The team had access to 70+ years worth of comic images, ect so I'm hoping we'll see alot more villains in the game.

No I don't base a game on the trailer, but I mean the game looks amazing from the gameplay I've seen, but I'm a little sceptict about having all the villans in the game, but 85% don't do anything but give hints to Batman that would be worthless. Well I think there will be the appropriate boss battles within the game. Rogue gallery wise there will probably be missions or different gameplay revolved around villains. Not to mention cameos of villains through the hold game. People are just too impatiant for this game and just need to chill the heck out. You dont want them to pull a Web of Shadows and put too many characters/villains within the game.

That trailer was absolutely crazy fun to watch. Sure it didn't show anything new but we did get to see parts of the boss battles and a few new quotes from the characters. I really think this game is leaning towards Joker manipulating prisoners for his own personal use against Batman, if so thats definently a new take to Batman and I like it.

Yeah, your right. I think Joker's boss battle is supposed to be pretty epic, and I've heard that he's supposed to take venom but thats just a rumor. Still though, this is Joker, his boss battle can't be spoiled because it would give away too much of the last boss fight, which would ruin it.

and it's just got to be epic. My hopes is that while bane and croc's battles will obviously favor a more physical beat em up style, I hope the joker battle takes more of a strategic pace

Agreed 100%. I have a feeling we'll be taking on those... "Titans" while trying to fight the Joker.

The Titan is in this video at 0:57 just incase you didn't know what they were. I'm still coming to terms with em so I had a feeling some others could be too.
