So we don't officially know when the console downloadable demo is going to be available but I heard that there will be an announcement during the first half of July. Wether that's true or not, I'd like to know if any one has some info, or what they'd like to see. Personally I would assume that it would mimick the demo that's been in stores recently. If it were my choice, I would make it a challenge room. Either way I can't wait to play it. I need something to hold me until the game comes out.

Honesty, all we know is this:

1) Expect a definite release date sometime this month.

2) It will be a completely different demo. Not the one we've seen in store displays.

They will announce it here in the next week or two .... then it will be all over the forum so it shouldn't be to hard to find ... Yes its gonna be fun

No. That's part of the story. The most they will give us is the Silent Knight/ Invisible Predator demo. At least I hope so. So far, though, I'm expecting the GameStop demo, the crappy fighting for 1 minute one. I don't think Eidos/Rocksteady will deliver the way we want them to. I mean, they delayed the game for two months just for marketing. Do you think they'll give us what they want?

Actually, I recall Sefton Hill stating that the new home demo will include some story.

If anything, it'll be something like the beginning of the story, like the IGN E3 Demo. That'd be nice so we don't spoil something out of the middle or end.

They have confirmed that it will not be the GameStop demo. In fact, they even said that it will be an entirely new release that doesn't focus specifically on combat. Furthermore, videos shown after the delay have revealed a greater improvement in the visual quality, from less tearing, more character animation, etc. Yes, marketing in a factor, but they are also focusing on quality control.

They're marketing how awesome they made it now. :D But yea... I'm just hoping the demo is the same from IGN's E3...

Someone should just message Keir and ask him if he can give out the announcement date yet .... not the date of the demo ,,, the date that they will make the announcement

From my understanding, nothing is definitive. He needs to wait for the final confirmation.

As long as there are no spoliers thats fine with me. but i thought that the demo would take place late into the game if my memory serves me right.

Okay. Sorry for that small bashfest I did there, then. But I'm hoping for an Invisible Predator demo. The story demo would have almost NO replayability compared to a Predator demo because the point of the demo would be to find different ways to get rid of each guy a different way each time. Not grapple from a mountain on to a watch tower and defend the Batmobile dozens of times until the game comes out.

Huh? D: The beginning of the story has been spoiled ever since the first article previewing it.

The beginning isn't as good as the middle or the end. Ok so Batman captures Joker and takes him to Arkham, right? Right. Joker WANTS to go to Arkham, right? Right. Here's just a FEW of the questions:

1. Just how did Joker plan all of this outside of the prison walls? Did he have help from Harley the WHOLE time?

2. How does the story go from here? Sure, we all know Batman will win, it's the classic good vs. evil...but HOW does he win?

3. What is the ending? What becomes of Joker? Batman definitely won't kill him and nor will Eidos...if they don't want a HUGE dramastorm of angry Batfans...

I don't care if it spoils the beginning...I just don't want anything ELSE spoiled. That's why I haven't read or watched any recent interviews or videos. I don't want to know about the first 3 levels or anything, just those first few moments of Zsaz and Joker essentially breaking into the jail and taking over are enough for me.

Batman doesnt win everytime. i would love for The ending to be like that. i always like the endings where batman doesnt win. to bad so few exist.

Of course the hero doesn't win every time, but in the classic fight of "good vs evil" good usually wins. So it's pretty safe to say he'll win this time too. The question is "how".
